I agree with beldasnoop and coldfan74.
It's not the personal side but taking too much just because... Metamorpshosis was a perfect example. A lot of personal issues but also a very strong case with a twisted ending.

It was so good that the closed captions was kinda screwy.

It was so good that the closed captions was kinda screwy. So are the captions for the videos CBS put on their site. Per their latest video, they show Phil with the caption stating the murderer confesses. Apparently Phil used his powers of telepathy to make Dan jump off the ledge.

Not only that, but he must have also used his powers of telepathy to convince the detectives not to arrest him.

I agree the bride should *not* have seen Dan at the end. To me seeing the victim means closure: either for the person who sees him/her or for the victim itself. But here none of them were in need of that closure. Anna had already gotten over the first wedding fiasco by marrying Louie (as she says in the bathroom) and Dan had done it as well - better yet, you could say he did not even got into marrying Anna in the first place since he was with her only because she reminded him of Mel. So there was no need to have any of them see each other. In my opinion the one that should have seen Dan was Phil, since confessing what really had happened was what he needed to conceal his guilty over what happened to Mel and Dan, which he regarded as his fault.
Other than that, a funny, tongue-in-cheek episode in the line of Creatures of the Night and Wilkommen.

I agree... Phil should have been the one to see the ghost... not Anna. True, she may have been hurt the most by him.... but she had already gotten her closer by marrying Louie. She had moved on. You could still see Phil had a lot of pain. As notaguest said, it would have been better for him to have seen Dan's ghost... to provide a sense of peace and that what happened wasn't his fault.

I thought that Phil and Dan at the end with the jump and Phil's reaction was the most realistic I've seen in years from the series. This is where the episodes had become weak after the second into the third season. So kudos for that. Isn't it interesting how people can fall in love with another person that resembles a former love? This reminds me of a part from Joseph Campbell's Hero's Adventure: Tales of Love and Marriage So through the eyes love attains the heart: For the eyes are the scouts of the heart, And the eyes go reconnoitering For what it would please the heart to possess. And when they are in full accord And firm, all three, in the one resolve, At that time, perfect love is born From what the eyes have made welcome to the heart.Poor Louie the goony stalker. But he got his gal! I'm so glad I finally got to see the entire episode as it was one of the better episodes of the season.

This was such a fun episode. It's kind of strange that the episodes that have been the most light hearted have involved suicide (this episode) or serial killers (Creatures of the Night, Lonely Hearts).
Loved that Louie got the girl! Anna seemed lovely. It was great seeing the team try to solve the case surreptitiously at the wedding. Loved Louie's reaction "You're trying to solve a case...at my wedding?" Loved Stillman turning up at that moment, and Louie glaring at him. Loved each team member having to grill someone in a novel manner. Loved Curtis and Lilly pretending to be a rowing couple!.
Lilly's dress was beautiful. Kind of wish they hadn't had Curtis and Kat fight, so Tracie Thoms could have worn something beautiful.
Poor Phil. To see your best friend kill themselves in front of you would be incredibly hard. Like many other people have said, I thought Anna was the wrong choice to see the ghost. She was at a joyous occasion, her wedding, and she sees her ex who killed himself? I wonder if the team told her what happened to Noah then, or waited a bit until a more appropriate time.
It seemed a bit out of character for Noah to sleep with the sister (and what an awful sister too).
