it may sound weird coming from CC fan but looking at the ratings im kinda glad it is before CC coz it might get CC higher rating too. i heard about that show, saw some promos but didnt gt a chance to watch it yet. i know it means CC is hour later but it may give us what we need and that is higher ratings so CC will be on for another season. gonna write it in the same thread thou is just a bit related, but is anyone else tired of amazing race? undercover boss is a hit as it turns out and it helps CC a bit, but cant they just take amazing race off and move everything an hour earlier? or take 60 minutes out? yeah think that wouldnt be bad either. Lol, i realize i went off topic a lot, so yeah i have to catch undercover boss coz it really sounds like a good reality tv. Oh, to those who watched it how do they explain to the rest of the employees the presence of cameras???

They tell the employees that they're filming for a different kind of reality show, and the recession usually helps give them cover. This week, they said the boss was a laid-off real estate worker looking for a job, and last week they said the boss was a laid-off construction worker. They told the employees the camera crew was filming to see these guys start a new career. Yeah, if you have the heart to watch Cold Case and The Amazing Race, you really need to give Undercover Boss a try. Both The Amazing Race and Undercover Boss are very heartwarming shows, which is a whole lot different from other reality shows such as Survivor, American Idol, Big Brother, and so forth. Sunday night is usually a family night for most people, so I think these two shows followed by Cold Case makes a really strong family-oriented combination for CBS. In my opinion, it's probably the best combination of Sunday night shows EVER for the network since I began watching Cold Case in season three. So even if this lineup hurts Cold Case's numbers, I think overall CBS should be very happy about what they have here. Cold Case now brings ~8 to 10+ million viewers right into the 11:00PM news; and for Sunday night, that's got to be awesome for the network and their affiliates. I *never* used to watch the 11:00 news on Sunday nights. Now I do. I think even though Cold Case numbers are hurting, the CBS executives must realize how valuable the show is in keeping an audience throughout the night. So oddly, even with less viewers for Cold Case, I think this new Sunday night lineup actually works very strongly in favor of keeping Cold Case around for another season. You can watch Undercover Boss reruns directly from CBS's web site: www.cbs.com/primetime/undercover_boss/video/?vs=Full%20EpisodesThese episodes have all the commercials cut out, so you can watch each of them in less than 43 minutes. In my opinion, the best episode so far was Waste Management, followed by 7-Eleven, and then Hooters. The Hooter's episode had some really powerful moments in it, but the CEO is IMO kinda goofy... ;D I hope you give it a try!

Before I go to sleep, I'm gonna reiterate that I think CBS has finally got a winning Sunday night lineup with TAR, followed by UB, leading into CC! Yes, I understand others here don't like it because it comes at Cold Case's expense; but again, I feel this combination really works well for the network, it's affiliates, and me. Tonight's undercover CEO mentioned how he thought his undercover assignment was only going to be about productivity and numbers; but as he worked with his people, he was quickly surprised at how it turned into learning about and personally understanding the employees that work for him. This really falls in perfectly with what Cold Case is all about, and I hope this similarity leads more viewers to watch Cold Case!

Hi boxman,
I did catch about ten minutes of UB last night with the White Castle owner. I thought it was interesting. Don't know if I'd watch it every week, though.
