I had a little too much time on my hands this week, plus I finally learned to use the "Windows Movie Maker" I didn't even realize that I had, so I put this together. Looking at this, does anyone else notice that Vera punches case boxes a lot when he puts them away? |

I'm considering making another one like this just because I've downloaded a lot more episodes since then. I'm not sure what a good song to use is though. Any ideas?

Grrrrr!  YouTube "muted" my vid cause of some copyright issue with Warner Music.  I filed a dispute under a "fair use" claim, but I'm not terribly optimistic. This blows.  |

I've seen that popping up all over Youtube recently. Does it say "WMG" or something like that? I was just reading some stuff about copyright issues -- I think the video portion of a fanvid is OK because it uses small clips & snippets. It's small pieces of the "larger work" (the "larger work" being the episode.) But the audio portion becomes a violation because the whole "musical piece" is used uninterrupted. It's an interesting way that Youtube is solving the problem (muting the audio.)

It DID say WMG.
Personally, I think the keeping the video up but muted is rather pointless, in my cast at least. The images get kind of dull with no sound or music, and the they were specifically sequenced to work with this song.
Personally, I'd rather they had some arrangement keeping the music up but maybe some ads on the side for the company that has the rights.

Yeah, todd. I heard YouTube is doing it. I think if they keep doing it, less people will go YouTube and they will earn less $$$
