Yay! That's great news. Do you think there is any chance for it to top the ratings and have a chance for season 8?

James Hibberd reports that CBS will be doing an experiment next Sunday moving Cold Case to 9pm and Three Rivers to 10pm to see if it improves either or both shows’ ratings. Interesting news.... In other words, they're going to transplant each show from it's current timeslot into the other's timeslot?  I hope the operation goes well! ;D |

Thats amazing! This is so going to show CBS how wrong they where to move Cold Case to 10pm!

Question is how well will CBS advertise the swich to improve the ratings for CC. Also CC will compete with American Music Awards, football game (Philly vs. Chicago) and new episodes of Family Guy and American Dad (although both are available next day on internet). We also need to hope/pray that there will not be a football overrun.
Somehow ratings for previous episode of CC went up (YAY!) and I hope that on Nov. 22nd everything will go well and CC will be on time and ratings will be highest this season.

Well, that's great news! I don't know how heavily CBS will advertise because I don't watch television except for CC and one other show right now. That's it!
Now, let's hope that CBS is on schedule for the night because that is important, too, for the switch to get a good reading - assuming the public does know which could take several weeks to kick in.

Very true... word has spread fast on the Cold Case boards but I wonder if the public at large will know about the switch. I imagine it will be announced during the Amazing Race... but else where.. who knows?
