Again, for those who don't want to read the casting call, the victim is 45 year old jockey and father Sonny Sandoval. The case takes place in 1986 and the music is all Carlos Santana. I feel like the show is trying to do something about the fact that the one artist episodes have been dominated by white men and yay to that. I just hope they can use the music of a female artist (Aretha maybe?) by the end of the show's run.
Also, Lily seems to know a lot more about riding than might be expected...

Me neither! considering she grew up in a poor part of Philly i don't think she would have had a lot of time around horses! this sounds like a great episode tho! cant wait till season 7 starts!

The riding bit, she might have read about it or when she took off for two weeks with Ray when she was 19. She might have learned, since they were in tennessee.

Because if I know anything about Tennessee there are a lot of people out in the country that ride for a living pretty much! That would be a great story line to bring up more about Lilly and Ray to.

This story line could be a good way to incorperate more of the Lilly and Ray portion of her life! i don't think that will touch upon that, that storyline was already touched upon in 4X11- The Red and Blue. Perhaps Riding is something that she's interested in or perharps her father had once taking her horseback riding.

Sorry for the double post. My Internet it messed up.
I do see where you are coming from with the Lilly and Ray thing but it would be nice to see more of her past come through with little hints like this one. The riding with her dad could be a good combination with how she grew up. I just really hope that she has forgiven her dad for last seasons mistake!

THe music of Carlos Santana, should be interesting. Isn't Saratoga, in Upstate NY, there is a raceway I know of there.

I totally agree. She needs sme kind of happyness in her life now, because it has been so sad and dull. I think her dad and her need to have like a talk about the reason why he left and maybe that could give her closure.

We don't know if her father is in this episode, but I'm sure that this episode will be a Scotty-centric one, since the vicim is hispanic.

I know that he is not in the episode, I am meaning in general for lilly to gain family and some happyness in her life.
I agree that this will be more of a Scotty episode because of his background. It would be nice to know more about Scotty's past to!
