Found this while searching. Just thought people might be interested. If you scroll down to the bottom theres a comment there saying this:

I’m happy to report that Tracie’s not leaving the show. She posted on her blog last May when CC was picked up for the 7th season that it came at the cost of her and two other actors’ episode numbers being cut. So she will only be in 16 of the 22 episodes this season, and so this storyline was developed to account for at least some of the gap (she’ll be missing from the next 3 episodes). She’s quite cool with the whole thing – the other alternative was for the show not to come back at all or for actors to be fired completely – and it’s given her the chance to do other things. You can see her in an upcoming episode of Private Practice, for instance.

So that informs you you of how many episodes she will airing in. Hope that helps.

It looks like she's coming back next week just from the previews.... which is odd... I wonder if Doherty got in a jam? I knew from her myspace she was going to miss a few episodes but I would have expected them to all be in a row.

I don't have a myspace so I'm oblivious to these things. Seeing I haven't seen these latest episodes it's nice to know these little details.

It is indeed. I don't use myspace either but you can still go online to her myspace page and read her stuff. Pretty cool, she seems very down to earth and open to questions.

Oh well I'll definitely have to look her up. I'm just used to people pretending to be celebrites, nice to know she is actually real! I'd love to talk to her.
