Episode 7-3: Jurisprudence is clearly based off the juvenile court scandal in PA involving Mark Ciavarella and Michael Conahan www.timesleader.com/news/hottopics/judges. These were two judges who got kickbacks from private centers to send as many kids as possible to them. A girl who lampooned her principal on myspace, a kid who stole a bag of chips among others were hundreds of kids sent to these centers/camps for anywhere from 3 months to two years.
