I just watched the rerun last night of the premiere episode, and it's so weird to see all the characters, not that I know more about them. It's weird without scotty.

hello, I am from the Uk we have just had the pilot episode of Cold Case and I taped it but missed the last 15 mins!

can anyone tell me the ending please? I saw upto where the rich lawyer brother confronted lily in the car park then said his brother erik did it, could anyone tell me what happened then?

Hello, this is the Byrdman coming at you today. I hope that everyone is doing well, and that you are all rocking through your respective weeks just like I am!

I just wanted to post this, because there was some question about it a few weeks back, but I got this information from my TIVO today: the season premiere will be on Sunday, September 25 at 7 pm (central time) on channel 380 (CBS on DirecTV). Granted, this is considering the football schedule does not throw it off too much (which it probably will).

But I just wanted to let everyone know this info that I got on my TIVO today. Take care, and have a great night, boys and girls!

No very unfortunately I have to wait till January to catch the new series and that's if SKY ONE show it like they have the last seasons. Nothing is confirmed by them yet. Mind you I will be trying to aquire season 3 asap through other means if I can!!! I just don't think I could wait another 4 months!!!

I know exactly how you feel, sonny! I have to wait till November to catch the next season and that's if stupid WB doesn't kick CC out the schedule.
Nothing is confirmed yet and I'm very tiffed.

Yes!!!! Now I can say I have seen them all. Years of waiting for that pilot to air. I was not disappointed at all. You can tell they were testing things out. The flashing back of images didn't happen right away. And Jeffries wasn't there much. Vera was his usual self right away. Lily's partner was pretty good here. I didn't know it was established that he was diabetic right away. And he mentioned he had a wife. I wonder what happened with the actor who played him. Why was he written off the show? I guess it doesn't matter now. I'm so used to Scotty. I'm taping all these episodes in case the DVD never comes out. To Byrdman, the episode seemed to have all the scenes intact from the recap. I have a good memory of shows I see and I remember Gleen pretty well. I'll probably be able to give you an answer as to whether they edited or not. I do know they merged scenes together that were normally seperated by commercials. But I think they might still be intact.

I'm so happy that I finally got to see this episode again. I hadn't seen it since it first air two years ago! Needless to say, I hadn't remembered a lot of it. Here are some things I noticed:

-Lilly wasn't as tough as she usually is in every interview/interrogation. She seemed to mold herself into whatever she needed to be in order to get the answers she needed - a former alcoholic with Eric, an abused wife with Mrs. Shelby, and a wallflower/push over with Todd, and so on. She even pretended to run into Todd in the park. I think this lends more credibility to the theory that Lilly was only lying to get what she needed out of Mrs. Shelby.

-Lilly was literally in every scene. She conducted all of the interrogations, interviews, and she got the confession. I miss that.

-The continuity from this episode to "The Badlands" was incredible! Everything was exactly the same, even the song playing in the background when this episode switched from the opening flashback to the present day triple at Della's. They used the same song in "The Badlands." Gotta love the attention to detail.

-I made a pact with myself that I would cease discussing Lilly's hair, but I'm going to have to break it this once. I loved the way it varied. We saw it up in her trademark style, down, and even in a ponytail. So cute, and I wish they'd go back to that.

-The current tough Lilly that we're used to seeing made an appearance in that wonderful parking lot showdown between her and Todd. Such a good scene! It reminds me of last year's "Who's Your Daddy" scene between her and Booker near her car.

-Lilly had a really cute way about her. I loved her scene with Stillman when they were discussing the Commissioner's sudden interest in her.

I also noticed that some of CC's trademarks were not in full swing yet R2K. I like the show's style better now. It's sleeker without being too sleek. Lilly has evolved over the last two seasons as well. I remember reading an interview with Meredith and co. about how they saw Kathryn in The Contender and knew she was who they wanted to play Lilly. It's funny because she was very much like her Contender character in the pilot.

Oh! How I wish I had not fallen asleep on my couch last night! I tried so hard to stay up and see this.

Oh well. It still kind of bugs me that I never got to see the series premiere of my favorite show. It's like, I have yet to see how "it all began."

Will do, Byrdman. Since I'll be taping them all, I can check. But I'll tell you from the recap of Look Again, I'm getting the feeling the episodes are intact and uncut. The recap was very detailed and everything turned up in the episode.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this... but has anyone noticed Lilly only pretends to drink the scotch & soda she asked for at the bar? It's really obvious too. She takes a swig and doesn't swallow anything. Just something to think about...

I just want to say how much I loved this episode. Watched it 2 days ago for the 1st time in 2 years. I'd forgotten how powerful season 1 was. And Look Again is just about everything you can ask for in a pilot. I was so pleased when I watched it I was almost in awe, and remembered perfectly why I kept watching the show. Lilly is incredible in this ep, you can see her fervent personality so well. They wrote her character's evolution, from not wanting ANYTHING to do with the maid Bonita, to becoming a "crusader" really well. And she's so darn brave during her encounter with the SOB in the parking lot! He was really menacing too, even though I know he doesn't, I kept expecting him to lash out or something. And you could tell Lilly was scared afterwards, when he turned around, and she double-blinked. Great details! And good acting all around.
