Personally I enjoyed this episode. I think it was actually very nice to be case concentrated, and I had sympathy for Donna. I also very much liked the scenes between Lilly and the daughter. It was more of a "your mom could have been there" feeling than a "your mom was a failure"... For me it seems that the compassion and the understanding between the two was well portrayed. The Nick interrogation was not only well done it also made me remember that Vera was also a very good detective, it reminded me of Cold Case Season 1 for some reason. I got to re watch this episode last night on CBS, and even though I put it on my worst for Season 6 awards list, I found a new appreciation for it. As a whole it was not a bad episode for the reasons listed above.

It also re-played here last night, I refused to watch it. To me it one of the worst episodes and still is of Season 6. Didn't really move me at all.

I think it depends on everyone's opinion. For example: I hated the episode written by fanfiction writers even if anyone else loved it

That's just your opinion, I understand. For instance in this episode, i already knew from the beginning who was the killer, plus his motive was weak; very weak

He was mad at how his life was going, & I myself have had those moments where you just want to hit something(granted not people in the head with a tire iron), but still I just think his emotions got to overloaded and that was the end result. I don't know about the episode written by fanfiction writers. Greg Plageman wrote the episode and he is also responsible for Into the Blue & Long Blue Line.

I think Eduardo was referring to the 6th season finale as being something that fanfiction writers would write about.

About the dealer: It wasn't a great storyline, I know. That's what I just voted for ok. I liked the victim about the season finales: I stated in that thread why I hated that episode so much

Vera is the one who did save this episode because I loved his scenes.
I'd say this is an Okay episode. I think everyone is good at selling things and people aren't good at selling things.
Plot as to how she was killed was kinda lame.

This whole episode felt flat from start to finish for me with only Vera's scenes giving it a boost. IMO,the second worst episode of Season 6 behind Breaking News.
