Ok... I caught up now.
True to norm, I agree with Naj, TVFan and coldfan74--and ESPECIALLY with LillyKat, who said almost everything that was on my mind. The story was pretty realistic IMO--never underestimate the power of hospital bills to get you broke but GOOD. I had a friend whose mom had cancer during med school, and she ended up practically homeless. Now she's back on her feet again, but it was a rough couple of years, and with two kids, it would've been either worse.
Absolutely loved the all-female soundtrack. They really should try it again!
Didn't like the Jeffries stuff so much. That scene with the gun in his hand seemed forced, and it sounded like he was reciting his lines (kinda bothered me, because I know what a good actor he can be). But it was just a little spoof really and didn't kill my enjoyment of the show.

Loved the music, loved the acting and loved the fact that they used an actor out of my favourite movie, donnie darko. It was a great storyline that was confronting and believable... Being homeless isn't just for the drug addicts and the mentally ill.

Hi everybody, I am from Peru, and I was hooked with Cold Case episodes. In my opinion, this episode was excellent because that shows a reality about how the street people could live, In my country there are several cases about this situation, and see it, it is really sad, I know, that some parts are exagerrated but, this is a show, a possibility of how hard could be the reality. the closing song was so sad. I think that people who lives in streets, cars (homeless), they will tell you, "I love it" I love Cold Calse anyway.
see ya.!

This is a good episode, but it's one of the most depressing ones, even by Cold Case standards. So I don't know if I would watch it again. It may seem unlikely that Maureen and her girls could end up on the street the way they did, but hey--sometimes people just fall through the cracks. I didn't expect the part about Will! Too bad it took him doing something so drastic to find peace with what happened. It was nice to see him listening to the Miles Davis album at the end, even though he didn't look entirely comfortable about it. It was also nice to see Abby and Natalie together again at the end. I loved seeing the slimy tow truck guy getting knocked around! He deserved it! Anyone notice the homeless family Maureen's boss was helping was a mother and two daughters--just like Maureen and her girls? Nice touch.
