Due to circumstances beyond our or his control, I'm sad to announce that irishkale will not be joining us as an admin for season 7. For now, he will be moved to retired admin status, and will hopefully be able to return as an active admin in the future.

That's a shame. I hope he still hangs around. I really appreciated his support of my work. Will someone replace him?
I actually had an idea for the board I was discussing with him when he still posted regularly. Maybe I can run it by one of the other admins instead (in private, so as not to get anyone's hopes up in case it doesn't pan out).

Such a shame, I always valued his input, especially on after-episode comments. I hope that whatever is going on his life brings him joy and he can return to this great place as soon as he's able.
