I just saw the movie on HBO today, Danny had a reasonably good part in the movie. Not to mention how cute he was.

After reading cellogal's thoughts on Danny in this one, I bumped it up on my Netflix queque. It is now 2nd. I will give a full report after I watch it. ;D

I just happened to record it, luckily it was on a channel I got. Danny look great in that cowboy hat.

Oh, this was a fun movie! It hadn't been such a good week but after an hour and a half of giggling to myself every time Danny Pino came onscreen in his cowboy get-up, I felt much better! ;D I agree he looked very good in that cowboy hat! Now I'm just disappointed that there isn't really any excuse for him to wear it on Cold Case (maybe they could have a Christmas party...)! The rest of the film was fun too (just not as much!) - it was kind of corny and predictable, but in the sweetest possible way. So, I would definitely recommend to anyone in need of cheering up or who would like something to fantasize about while they're supposed to be writing an English essay! Thank you very much to cellogal for suggesting it!  |

You're welcome! I'm glad you all enjoyed it, and that I'm not the only one who thinks Cowboy Danny is sexy. (I always thought it was maybe because I grew up in a part of the country where people actually do dress like that). I think my personal favorite part (other than the obvious) is when he refers to himself as a sexy beast. Because he so is.
Cowboy Scotty on Cold Case...I think they missed a golden opportunity in "The Red and the Blue" to have him fully embrace the South. Oh, well. Maybe they'll have a Halloween party sometime. Hmmm.... *gets fanfic idea*

Thank you very much for posting the screencaps! :-) I'm seriously considering using one as the desktop background on my computer, but then again that'd probably just distract me from working! It is quite hard to pick a favourite part - there were many enjoyable moments  - but I agree the 'sexy beast' line was a good one, and, like you say, so true. It was a shame the farm hands didn't get more to say to each other - they were really funny together in that bit. Maybe they could have a sequel And a Cold Case Halloween party with Scotty as a cowboy - now that would be fun! If anybody should want any more screencaps I'm pretty bad at everything to do with computers, but I'm going home in a couple of weeks and could maybe get a friend to make some for me then. :-) |

I just watched this movie this weekend, and I thought it was pretty good. The story was predictable (as others have said), and I felt like it never really took off. Stuff happened, but I kept waiting for something bigger. BUT, Danny's appearances in this one (especially his brief, but wonderful shirtless scene) made it well worth the rental!! He was SO ADORABLE in this movie. Loved the cowboy hat!! Can I just say that I knew we were going to get a shirtless scene because of Cellogal's description of Scotty's chest in her recent hot n' heavy chapter. She didn't miss a detail! And a HUGE thanks to RichE for immortalizing that scene and many others in his fabulous screencaps. |

It's a shame that you were *forced* to pause the DVD, study the image, rewind and repeat for hours on end just to bring the rest of us that all-important visual for your story. |
