Good morning boys and girls!  Hello, I hope that you are all having wonderful Saturdays and starts to your weekends! Something occurred to me when I awoke this morning - I got to look at the date, and yesterday three years ago. It was the day after the CC 3rd season finale ("Joseph") had aired, and when I looked in the mail I was (and still am every time I think of it!) the happiest boy in the world! KM had returned my request for an autographed picture! Oh man, I can still remember how excited I was when I saw the "Cold Case" label in the top left hand corner, and then I got it opened, and she had sent a business card with Lilly Rush's stats on it and then she included the two index cards that I sent to her - one had her autograph on it, and the other had a nice little message for me as well as her autograph. Then I saw her lovely picture which she included to me, and it was so cool! She wrote a nice little message for me with a signature again, and she drew a smiley face too! I made her smile! How cool is that? I was so pumped up!  As you can guess, I still have everything that KM sent to me that day. I still have the envelope and I got her business card and my index cards laminated. And her picture is still up in a frame, and I will take it with me forever too. Just wanted to share my special tale again today. Take care, and have a rocking day, boys and girls! |

Hi Khaya and Shannah! How are you girls? Are you having a good weekend? I hope so. Thank you both for responding - that was truly a special day for me, and I will always remember it for sure! Hmmmm......I'm not quite sure that I remember who gave me that address, Shannah. I think that I saw it on some autograph boards online somewhere. I might have to do some digging to find it too - I last wrote it about 3 1/2 years ago, so I have slept a time or two since then. So, do you girls want to write her as well? If so, I must warn you to possibly be ready for a wait. Kathryn is obviously a busy girl with Cold Case and everything else. But if you desire to do it, I would urge you to go into it with confidence. I always felt that way....I had to wait about 6 months to get my return. But I wrote my letter with utmost sincerity and hoped that she would like it, indeed I was proven right. Take care, and thanks again for your kind responses, girls! |

I can especially trust them coming from a girl too! I would urge you girls on - and here is a direct address! Hi Shannah! Thanks for the response, and I'm glad that you had a such a great weekend too! I did as well, thank you. It was restful and rejuvenating and productive. I got a lot accomplished! No problem on the address, thank you for stirring the memory. I wish you luck in your quest, Shannah. And yes, when I did write to her I asked her for a photo. Let me tell you, words cannot describe how happy I was on my special return day. I sent her a thank you card the next day! And To Khaya and LII - Hey, girls! I'm sorry that you seem to be experiencing a block in your writing. If you want my advice, I wouls say just to write her a letter telling her how much you like the show and the fact that she is the star of it. Just be yourself - she is a girl, just like you both, and I'm sure that she would like what you have to say. Just my two cents. Thanks for listening, and have a great night, girls!
