These are some new and improved guidelines for the fanart section to make the area the best that it can be for all members.
1. Artists may create a separate thread for each of the six categories: avatars, banners, signatures. sketches, paintings, and wallpapers.
Format the title of your thread as follows:
[your name here]'s avatars, ex.: trublu's avatars
2. Please do not post your work on another artist's thread.
3. The following are size suggestions; these will be requirements in any contests unless exceptions are posted:
- avatars: 100 x 100
- banners: any, but thumbnails only in posts
- signatures: 500 x 100
- sketches: any, but thumbnails only in posts
- paintings: any, but thumbnails only in posts
- wallpapers: 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x768, 1280x1024, but thumbnails only in posts
4. By posting your work on this forum, you give permission to users of this forum only to use your work freely on this forum only without a notice in their profile or personal text.
For example, I may post an avatar which Naj may use freely without crediting me in her signature or personal text. This is to promote the free exchange of art within this community only. Any works posted here outside this community must be credited, and any outside works used here must be credited.
5. Artists, in order to retain a connection to their work and to be digitally credited with its creation, are encouraged to add a digital copyright to their work detailing their name/username, and distribution instructions/limits. Click here for instructions on how to add a digital copyright in Photoshop. Instructions are roughly the same in any image editor, and can usually be accessed via the "save" option.
6. In the event of an ownership dispute, the responsibility to prove ownership falls to the complainant. Look Again cannot assume any responsibility in proving ownership.
7. All Cold Case works posted here are copyrighted to CBS, Cold Case, Jerry Bruckheimer, and are not posted with the intent of profiting monetarily, but for the purpose of sharing artistic talents and promoting the television show "Cold Case".
