Thought people might like to discuss what other networks/shows are doing, now that Cold Case is safe. Here are the links to 2009-2010 lineups: CBSNBCABCThe CW FOX

Good idea, trublu! (you beat me to to it) Still disappointed, that the Chronicles don't make it. But there is Fringe, and looks they team it up with Bones (though gonna see how the latter will turn out, the last two episodes of the season didn't do it for me). And I'm glad that Lie To me will return.

I too am saddened by TSSC. Supposedly, it ends on a cliffhanger. I hope somebody does something with that. I'm happy about Fringe, though, that was my favorite new show this season. But, the networks are switching everything around on me! I'll never remember what is on, and when, at this rate.

I too am saddened by TSSC. Supposedly, it ends on a cliffhanger. I hope somebody does something with that. Indeed, they could perhaps make a tv movie to give a proper ending. Maybe they think, that revolving the schedule randomly is something to keep people excited, if the shows alone don't do it anymore. One other show I will miss: Life. I actually liked that esoteric-philosophic babbling of Charlie Crews - and the one who's name we shall not say Shahi is a looker. Nope, not just that, she is smart and wonderful actress. Anyone looking forward to any of the new shows? To me the most interesting seem to be on ABC this time, though none that I am truly excited about, some just sound interesting enough to have a look at. "V" is of some more interested for me ol' science fiction fan.

The mentalist: Thu 10 pm: bad schedule Cold Case: Sun 10 pm: Horrible schedule "Cold Case" is in a bad time-slot for the weekend. "The Mentalist"....maybe not too bad since it will not be facing those reality show ratings hogs...AI, DWTS, etc. CBS is probably giving it a chance to develop itself even further for the long-run since many of its crime-procedurals are aging("CSI" and its spin-offs, "NCIS", "Cold Case", "Criminal Minds", and "Numb3rs"). "The Mentalist" is a better pairing for "CSI" than it is for "NCIS". "The Unit" got cancelled . That show was pretty good. It would have been a better pairing partner after "NCIS" than "The Mentalist" since both are military related(army/navy). Although, "CSI" ratings have been dropping(down to 14 million), but I"m thinking that the CBS wants to boost "CSI" ratings by putting "The Mentalist" at 10 pm. That way while Mentalist fans are waiting for a new episode of their show, the network is banking on them to watch a new episode of "CSI" too while they're waiting for their show to begin. It's the oldest trick in the book just like putting a show before AI or after AI. I'm excited for CBS's new show on the fall line-up "Miami Trauma". Sounds like a new "ER" ;D. I was a longtime "ER" fan until Noah Wyle left the show. Synopsis of the show: MIAMI TRAUMA is about a team of expert surgeons who work at one of the premiere trauma facilities in the country, where only patients with life threatening injuries are treated. Dr. Matthew Proctor (Jeremy Northam) is new to the trauma team, after a tour of duty in a MASH unit during the Gulf war. Dr. Eva Zambrano (Lana Parrilla) is a workaholic surgeon who is more comfortable in her scrubs than she is out in the real world. Dr. Christopher Deleo, "Dr. C.," is a playboy who thrives on the high-stakes of trauma medicine and is, by his own description, a genius redneck. Dr. Serena Warren (Elisabeth Harnois) is fresh out of medical school, and head nurse Tuck Brody (Omar Gooding) keeps the doctors on track and the patients' families updated in this chaotic corner of the medical profession. Together, this team of doctors excels in the "golden hour," the 60 minutes after being critically injured, when a patient's life hangs in the balance.

Usually, shows are put after the show that they would like it to lead into. I don't think I've ever heard of them placing a show before another one in order to boost the first show's ratings. The way it normally works is that a person watches show #1, then sticks around for show #2. I haven't actually heard much on new shows. I know that there is a new Jerry Bruckheimer venture floating around that I'm probably going to watch, just because it's JB. And if V is sci-fi oriented, I'm probably there as well. But, as it stands, the only show that got canceled that was one of my regulars is Terminator, so I've still got a lot on my plate.

Guess they might speculate on lead in and lead out, depending on show and time slot. Some people might not know what else to do, before their fave show aires, others might stick and watch what follows. I stumbled upon shows either way.
Though by now I tune into a new show, because I read or saw something interesting about it or a friend recommend it, I seldom zap.
Read just a few days ago a first review about "V", someone had a chance to watch the pilot - sounds even more promising now.

I haven't actually heard much on new shows. I know that there is a new Jerry Bruckheimer venture floating around that I'm probably going to watch, just because it's JB. And if V is sci-fi oriented, I'm probably there as well. JB's new show(uggh another crime drama show ): *I'll watch the pilot of it, but right now it doesn't sound very interesting. THE BRIDGE is a drama about a tough and dedicated police officer who is voted to become the police union's dynamic leader. To serve the public as well as his 8,000 fellow officers, charismatic Frank Leo (Aaron Douglas) battles criminals on the street, corruption in the ranks and his own bosses. On the force is his able partner and confidante Tommy Dunn (Paul Popowich), who rides with Frank across the bridge that spans the divide between the rich and the poor in the area they patrol; Staff Sergeant Bernie Kantor (Frank Cassini), a voice of reason and moral sounding board; Jill (Inga Cadranel), a detective with a lot of attitude who is moving up the ranks; Billy (Theresa Joy), a young female cop who is determined to prove herself to the guys; and Ed Wycoff (Michael Murphy), the shrewd Chief of Police. Abby St. James (Ona Grauer) is a sharp prosecutor who begins working with the police union, and shares a mutual attraction with Frank. In his new position, Frank Leo takes on the politically-motivated department brass. and makes many powerful enemies in the process. OH GEE...gosh golly....I wonder what other shows sounds like this. Hmm...perhaps "Cold Case" It seems to me like CBS wants "Cold Case" to die. They're moving it back even further to 10 pm . But, as it stands, the only show that got canceled that was one of my regulars is Terminator, so I've still got a lot on my plate. I didn't watch a lot of new tv last year. Good thing.....the only new tv show that I've gotten into was "Southland", which fills up a big hole that "Third Watch" left me. I can't wait for "Miami Trauma"(ER-ish), "Trauma"(about Paramedics), "Three Rivers"(organ transplant surgeons, donors, recepients), "V", and definitely FOX's new show "Glee"(it's a hillarious musical show!! ). JB is also producing another new show onto the tv fall line-up, but this one is for ABC and it's called "The Forgotten". It's supposedly about a group of detectives who are all about giving the victims' voices back to them after they've been murdered. Hmm...sounds a lot like a little show called "Cold Case". Anything original?? EDIT: Seems a lot of networks are trying to find the next "ER" ;D. I'm all for that!! I loved "ER" until Noah Wyle left the show.

To me nothing sounds that interesting, just another group of boring shows on TV. I was going to watch the last season of lost in 2010, but It's well lost my interest

UGGGHHHH!! CAN"T BELIEVE THE CW PASSED ON JASON DOHRING'S SHOW "BODY POLITICS".....It's better than anything they have on the schedule:
Melrose Place rebooted another show about rich people..... Vampire Diaries
"Vampire Diaries" just proves that Stephanie Meyer("Twilight" series) has no writing capabilities whatsoever since these books preceded her twilight books 10 years before.
So much like "Twilight":
