www.pbpulse.com/tv/2009/05/11/seven-shows-that-shouldnt-die/Cold Case is showing the most viewers in this list. snipped: Cold Case (CBS)On the air since: 2003Average number of viewers: 11.6 millionWhy it should live: Not many crime dramas keep you guessing until the end, but Cold Case does almost every week as a bunch of grizzled Philly detectives solve twisty old murders. The series is at its best when it becomes an impressive period piece and goes way back in time to the days of Prohibition, the Negro Leagues and the Kennedy assassination. Cold Case does a terrific job of giving viewers an interesting peek inside the characters’ personal lives. Noticed that Without A Trace isn't listed. Does that mean it was saved?

I hope that Without a Trace wasn't saved, it doesn't deserve another season. From what I'm hearing TVguide already has layouts to what Season 7 of Cold Case will feature.

Without a trace shouldn't be given another chance, they already had seven seasons. Cold Case is a much better show and it deserves one more season...

Thank you for the article, Naj. Interesting, I don't even know the other shows that are listed, except for Law and Order. Probably because they don't run here.
But the one who wrote this article described Cold Case very well, I think.

Unfortunately it's not just about the number of viewers. Ad industry has certain ideas, who would be their best audience, assuming that younger people are more interesting for them (maybe not the big money earners already but probably easier to convince to buy something). Not to mention, it's always about how much money you get for every penny you invest. The higher the costs for a show, the more money it has to make.
I don't know, if WAT actually deserves another season, I barely watched it, so admittely I don't care much. I don't like though, if it starts to sound like Cold Case fans might call for letting that show die so Cold Case could go on. We want Cold Case to have another season, because we think it's good, period. It should have nothing to with how much we dislike or like other shows.
According to talk and rumours on the net it does look though better by now for Cold Case to be renewed.

Maybe WAT is not listed because they feel that it doesn't deserve to "live-live" as they put it. Cold Case is the far best show on that list!
