"AFTER THE WOODS"

Lilly was there. In that attic. She was there with a monster- George.
She can't do enything what she want. Fear, shock, tears and angry... She kill him. Lilly kill somebody with a first time in her life and she was in shock. She's a homoicide and she always look at the bodys but now... She don't know what she feel. Her hands still shaking.
It was 10 minutes ago. Only 10 minutes...
Her friends don't know what they must do. Hug her or give her a time.
She was cold, shaking, so Scotty removed his jacket and put it over Lilly. She can't smile but she say softly "Thank you".
Lilly was too tired to talk about this and Vera, Jeffries, Stillman and Valens know this. They don't ask her anything.
"We go home" said Stillman and opened the car.
Scotty open the pasager door.
"We stay here" said Vera, Jeffries nooded.
"Ok. Call me if you two finde something" said Stillman and look at Lilly and Scotty in his car "I don't know what he do with her, but she's realy scare"
"I see" Vera nooded "She need a time, I think" pause "Ok. Go home boss. We stay here"
Stillman nooded and get in to the car.
"Are you Ok?" he ask Lil.
"I... Yeah... I think" said Lil, softly.
Her voice was shaking. Scotty look at her and saw fear her eyes.
"Can we go in station? I doesn't want go home" she ask 5 minutes later.
"Lil... You need some rest" said Scotty.
"Right" Stillman nooded "You go home"
Lil look at window. One tear streamed down her cheek.
"If you want, I can go home with you" said softly Scotty 10 minutes later.
She doesn't answer.
"Lil..." he touch her shoulder and look at her face in window.
She fall asleep. He gently put her down, led her head on his knees and wrapping her shoulder.
"She fall asleep?" ask Stillman.
"Yeah..." said Scotty and look at her face "She's realy tired"
Stillman nooded.
"I stay with her" said Scotty when Stillman stop the car.
They was near Lillys apartament. She was still sleep.
"Ok" said Stillman and look at sleepy Lilly "Take care her"
"I will" said Scotty and get Lilly in to his arms and go to her apartament.
He open her door and go in to her bedroom.
"Where am I?" she marmured.
"Shhh... Sleep. You're home Lil" said Scotty and led her in her bed "You're safe. Don't scare".
Lilly doesn't answer. She still sleep.
THE NEXT MORNING
Lilly opened her eyes. She sit down on her bed. She have no shoes.
"Good morning" said Scotty "How are you"
She look at him. He sit in near her bed on the floor and look at her.
"Sorry" she said softly "What are you doing here? And how..."
"What? No... Lil... You was tired and you just fall asleep in Stillmans car. I led you here and stay here in the night" said Scotty "I'm sorry if I scare you"
"Now... I just..." she look down "I just don't know what I must say"
"Maybe... 'Thank you Scotty' and give me a smile" he said and sit near her on her bed.
She don't look at him.
"Lil... If you doesn't want talk about last night and George... I understand this but you must know... I'm here. Anytime... If you want talk... I'm here" he said and touch her hand.
"Thanks Scotty" she said softly "I want talk"
He look at her.
"So.. I'm here" he said.
Lilly look at his eyes and start:
"You want know what was happend to me when I was a little girl, right? You want know what is in my 49... You hear about my 49 when George talk to me on the station few month ago... So now I'm ready to talk to you about this" she look down at her hands "I was 10. My mother need a drink and I was go to shop in the night. Some man... Big @#@#in man want my money. I give him what I have" deep breath "But he doesn't belive me. He... He hit me. He hit me on my face. He broke me five teeths and... I doesn't good remember this but I think he... raped me"
Scotty look at her. His mounth was open. He was in shock.
"God..." he said softly and hug her "I wasn't know. I'm so sorry... "
"Scotty... Did you know why I hate my sister?" she ask "I was in action... It was my first day in homicide and when I was go home... She was in bed... With him. With my fiance. They make a love and she say 'Lilly this man is not your at long time' and she laught to my face" Lilly look at Scottys eyes.
He was in shock.
"I wasn't know Lil... I'm sorry..." he said and kiss her forehead.
She wasn't cry.
"In last night... George speak with me about this. If I'll not talk with him... He want kill me" Scotty give her a gently squeeze.
"But now everything is Ok. You kill him. He can't hurt you now" he said.
"I kill somebody first time in my life" she said.
Scotty look in herseyes and smile.
"Yu is a good cap and good woman Lil. I alway want say you this but I alway doesn't know how..." he put her hand "Lilly Rush... I... Love you... At long time"
She look in his eyes and she smile gently.
"I was think with you never tell this" she said "I... Love you too Scotty Valens"
He kiss her.
It was the best moment in hims and hers life. They was happy. Realy happy.
