If you go to your "profile" page, you may notice that there is a new option at the top of your profile called "Import/Export Settings". This is a new code that is being worked on that is currently in beta testing. Here's how it works:
If another forum has this code in place, and you are a registered member there, you can take your profile settings from this board and place them in a profile on another board without having to fill in each box from scratch each time you register someplace new.
The steps:
1. Click "export" in your profile.
2. You'll be provided with a code to copy/paste on the other forum.
3. On the other forum, click "import" in your profile, and paste the code in the box there.
And you're done!
This code won't interfere with anything on this forum, so if you aren't using it, you won't notice a thing.
This is just to help out a coder who has coded a couple things for this forum in his testing of this new code, which is really nifty.
