CC guest stars on other shows

Now that I'm finally caught up on "Heroes", I've been noticing quite a few CC guest stars popping up lately:

-Alexa Nikolas, who played Madison Reed in "8:03" was a teenage Angela Petrelli (in a flashback, fittingly) in last season's episode "1961". The episode also features Diana Scarwid (Spider's mom from "Spider") as Angela's now-grown sister.

-Michael B. Silver, who played Rick, the world's worst AA sponsor, in "Ravaged", played the President's Chief of Staff last season.

-Greg Zola, who played Gail Chimayo's creep boyfriend Bruce way back in "Our Boy is Back", played a suspect interrogated by Matt Parkman

-Jack Wallace, who played the old dying boxing ref Sonny in "Yo, Adrian", plays Arnold, an old dying member of Samuel's traveling carnival. (I guess playing old guys at death's door is his specialty).

-Dawn Oliveri, who recently played the older Vonda Martin in "Hoodrats", plays Lydia, the tattooed lady in Samuel's carnival.

-Mark L. Young, who played the troubled jed Huxley in "The Key" is playing Jeremy Greer, a young man with the power to heal (or kill) by touch.

Probably a few more I missed.

There was.

-Bruce Boxleitner, who played Huck in "The Good-Bye Room" (but is probably better known for "Tron" and "Babylon 5") played Gov. Robert Malden

-Ernie Hudson, who was Skill's grandfather in "8:03" (and was also was in some sort of movie about catching ghosts ) played an ill-fated cop chasing Sylar.

Loretta Devine playing Chandra Patterson in 7x04 Soul was an assistant Patti Dellacroix on show 'Eli Stone'

Jamie Anne Allman who played Gwen Deamer in Gleen was a guess star on newest Three Rivers (09/15)

I'm sure "Criminal Minds" fans will recognize Meredith Monroe (who played Cindy in "A Perfect Day") as Thomas Gibson's wife (later ex-wife). Unfortunately, it looks like her time on the show has come to an end, as she was unceremoniously offed by a serial killer this week.

Too bad she didn't have someone like Art Balducci to protect her on THAT show.

So caught a repeat of Law & Order: SVU the other day 4X14 Mercy and seen Nathalie Paulding playing Patty Swanson. She was Quinn Ellis 1988 from 3X1 Family. Almost the same storyline...Quinn left her baby in the janitor's closet and it turns out that Patty had an abortion without her parents knowledge.

It's CC guest stars galore on the first four episodes of "24"!

-Back is Annie Werching as Renee Walker, who you may remember from "The Key" (I prefer to think of her as Renee, since "The Key" was NOT one of my faves! )

-Also back is Paul Wesley (older Petey Jr. from "Bad Reputation") playing Kim Bauer's husband Stephen

-Among the new faces this season, you probably know Katee Sackoff from "Battlestar Galactica", but before that, she was Terri, a friend of one of the victims, in "Volunteers".

-Also Clayne Crawford (Darren from "Jackals") plays a scummy ex of hers, trying to blackmail her.

-Joe Nieves (Manny, the "hand" guy from "Bad Reputation") and Sandra Purpuro (from "Frank's Best") played an ill-fated cop and wife in the second and third episode.

-Johnny Wu, (Ling, the doer, in "Chinatown") played a cop who responded and was fortunately a lot more cool-headed than his partner.

There's surely more to turn up as the season progresses! ;D

"Lost" is FINALLY back on this week and with it a number of actors we've seen on "Cold Case":

(spoilers for the episode)

-As expected, Nestor Carbonell (Scotty's brother Mike) and Jeff Fahey (from "Jackals") are now in the regular cast.

-Brad William Henke (from "Cargo") appears again as Bram just long enough to meet an unfortunate end at the hands of the Smoke Monster/The Man in Black/Not-Locke/Jacob's Nemesis/whatever you wanna call him. Too bad. I liked the actor and hoped he'd be sticking around, but at least I was proved right about who the monster was.

-L. Scott Caldwell (from "Sandhogs") and Sam Anderson (from "Joseph") are back as the much-loved Rose and Bernard.

-Fredric Lehne (from "The Hitchhiker") is back as the no nonsense Marshall Edward Mars.

-Daniel Roebuck (from "Kensington") is back as Dr. Arzt.

-Sean Whalen (from "Offender") is back as Neil "Frogurt".

-Unfortunately no appearance by Maggie Grace (from "Volunteers"). Apparently in this timeline, she never got on the plane and stayed in Sydney instead. Well, I'm sure we'll see her again at some point.

I watched the new episode of Law & Order SVU the other night called P.C. with guest star Kathy Griffin, and there he was..Chad Donella from 2X7, It's Raining Men. Interesting that he played a gay man fighting for rights in Cold Case's It's Raining Men, but in Law & Order: SVU, he played a killer targeting lesbians.

Anna Mayes, Scotty's friend was in the last episode of "The mentalist", she was the killer. Great acting!

I was flipping through the channels this afternoon and came across Wesley Jonathan, who played Billy in "Soul", on the show What I Like About You which stars Amanda Bynes and Jennie Garth.

I know this likely won't count, but I was looking at the information for JB Blanc (Paul in The Last Drive In, and Bullet). Besides being on a few shows (Raising the Bar), this guy has an extensive list of voice acting jobs in video games.

Hmm...this almost gives me an idea. To create another thread, but this time to see which CC guest stars have lent their voice to the world of animation.

If he is, he'll be in the new SVU ep on Wednesday.

Johnny Messner who played agent Ryan Cavanaugh in the episode "Last Drive In", "Bullet", and "Free Love" stars in the Hallmark Channel movie Meet my Mom. It is on again tonight at 9.

And while Mark Pellegrino and Titus Welliver haven't appeared on CC per se, fans like myself and one other have taken the liberty to use them here and here.

Mae Whitman played Eve Kendall in 1x23 Lover's Lane, probably best known for playing Sandra Bullock's daughter Bernice in Hope Floats, is now on NBC's Parenthood as Amber Holt. I think her character is loosely based on the Martha Plimpton character from the movie.
