CC guest stars on other shows

I watched "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" last night. Silly but fun movie. Shirley Knight (Dottie from "Factory Girls") plays the title character's mother. The film also features Bobby Cannavale (again as a cop).

I watched three shows and I see CC guest stars on there all the time: The shield, Lost and the X-files.

It's great to see them in other roles

In fact, the woman whom plays Fannie in Factory Girls (1943), Michele Hicks played Mara on the shield.

True but like in the season finale of " Lost", I saw probably a lot of people that were in CC. I just thought I'd throw it out

I have noticed some familiar faces from CC in episodes of House.

The actor playing Scotty's brother was in an episode, playing someone who gave money to the hospital and his son was admitted. (Btw this actor was also the mayor of Gotham City in the movie "Dark Knight".)

Also, the actor playing George Marks was one of the "Nine".

The first actor you're thinking of is Nestor Carbonell. He was on "Suddenly Susan", but these days is best known for playing the apparently immortal Richard Alpert on "Lost".

The other is John Billingsley. He's probably best known for playing Dr. Phlox on "Enterprise".

The conclusion of the 24's CC-actor-heavy season 7 concluded on Monday with one more addition: Robin Thomas, who played the older Roger Felice in "Baby Blues" appeared briefly as the Deputy Attorney General questioning Olivia Taylor.

Whoops! How'd I miss this one? Radzinksy, the unfriendly bearded Dharma guy who's been giving our heroes such a hard time all season is played by Eric Lange, who played Lyle (the doer) in "Wilkommen".

Not too long after "Wilkommen" aired, Eric was cool enough to surprise some CC fans on another site by joining them in a chat. He even later provided a couple of pics of him and his buddy John Billingsley (George):

Here's one that I just spotted. Brea Grant who played Liza West in episode 5x17 "Slipping" also played the character of Daphne Millbrook on Heroes.

I spotted Francis Fisher ( 5X17- Slipping) and Kyle Gallener ( 4x01- Rampage) on " The Shield", she played a mother that was scared of her son and then went missing. He played another killer kid, although the detectives couldn't prove that he had murdered her, but he had killed another person.

Zeljko Ivanek (John Doe from "One Night" 3X16) on Bones "The Woman in the Car" as Carl Decker & Crossing Jordan "The Gift of Life" as Dr. Elliot McCafferty.

I also had spotted Raymond J. Barry ( Paul Cooper) on Lost. He appeared in season 5's episode 3:16 as Jack's granddad.

I noticed that too. Anyone else find it ironic that Matthew Fox is actually older than KM, yet Barry plays her father and his grandfather. (For the record, I don't think he looks old enough to be Christian Shepherd's father).

Surprised this one hasn't been mentioned yet. Summer Glau, who played Paige Pratt in "Love Conquers All" has been in several other shows including;

The Unit - Crystal Burns - 7 episodes
TTSCC - Cameron Phillips
Serenity - River Tam
The 4400 - Tess Doerner.

I think Summer is probably one of the better-known actors who's appeared on the show.

I think it's more interesting to note lesser-known actors who've recently appeared in guest spots on other shows or had a role in a new movie. Simply listing the credits of any well-known actor on the show is a tad unnecessary since we already have IMDB.

(Of course if you did want to note some of the roles an actor's done, well-known or not, the wiki would be a good place to do it! ;D )

Blake Robbins who played David Lake 2004 showed up on the new Hallmark commercial for Father's Day

I just noticed the actress playing ADA Thomas in the first episode of "Close to Home". (Does anyone else think that this series was a bad effort to make something similar to Cold Case with just a more "normal" -married with kid- star? )

V.J Forster who played Cyd Tisdale in the episode " The River", was also on The Shield playing Smitty. One of his scenes were in the same episode as Danny Pino who played a Villian.
