AHHHHHRG! I never watched, but they were starting to add a lesbian romance in, and it was going to be great... and now it's canceled. Of course. Otalia (Natalia/Olivia) fans are going to be going nuts over this. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few petitions going around! That said, I can't say I'm surprised. I don't imagine the daytime soap spots are doing so well, given that so few people are "stay at homes" nowadays. Most grab a nanny or drop their kids off at daycare during the day. My mom, who used to never miss an episode of "Days of Our Lives", stopped watching entirely when we got older and she went back to work. ETA: Their ears must be ringing... I don't watch the show but I was taken aback when I saw this news clip yesterday unless CBS was pulling an April Fools! (Don't think so). Why is it something always happens to the lesbian stories on these shows.  Thanks for that tidbit, trublu. |
