You should wait until someone posts the song list. They do as soon as they can.
It was the song "This Land is Your Land" however I don't know the artist.

So you're not including last week's episode? Even though we were only given 2 songs, there were still a ton that were used that we had to guess. Quite a few people picked up a lot of points.

I haven't watched the ep yet so I can't answer the ones with ? -- but I was wondering now that this little game we have going here each week if we shouldn't put a limit to the number of songs one can choose. I say this only because I usually choose about six or eight but others are choosing more 12-16. So could we decide an exact number we may choose each week? Does this seem a fair request? What do you all think?

People should guess however many songs they want. I also don't see what's unfair about it, seeing as anyone can guess 12-16 songs or more if they want. I mean, if everyone did....that just enables more people to get as many points as they can if they end up getting some right.
When you restrict options, you restrict outcomes. It's supposed to be fun and I think everyone takes it that way. I guess a lot of songs because a) I know a lot about music and b ) I want to make sure I have all my bases covered. I've guessed a ton of songs (like this episode) and gotten none right, so the number of songs you choose isn't an exact science.
I don't understand why it even matters, to be perfectly honest. This isn't a game that you can cheat to win because we don't know the songs until the episode is over (unless they are given in advance). The number of songs someone guesses is really irrelevant, since it doesn't make a difference in the end most of the time.

I would say that if I have to make a number, *15* would be the absolute limit of # of songs per user per show. The only reason it matters to set a limit is because eventually some wiseacre is going to copy-paste the entire Billboard 100 in a post & say "these are my guesses." Then when I bounce them, they'll claim that "there was no rule against posting 100 songs."
But before I make it "law"... I should ask -- was there a rule set up in the past for this? I'll honor any rules that were set up 3 or 4 years ago with regards to this (the rule would go into effect starting the next episode.)

Hey there Electrophile! My intention was not to make this little fun we've been having here feel like it's being taken away due to a suggestion. I really wouldn't want to ruin what fun we've been having on this forum. I appreciate your feedback. irishkale, To my recollection, there has never been a rule to how many song guesses posters made in the past. I think this is the first season we've had this little tally going on due to the little change in dynamics of guessing this season.

Oh I know it's not your intention to take the fun out of this, and if I gave you that idea, I apologize. I can understand where irishkale is coming from, but I don't think anyone here would do that. That would be very dishonest and I think we have a pretty good group of people here. It's kind of like everyone is on the honor system.
