Although this one's gonna be very hard, I'm gonna try. Here are my guesses:
Hallelujah, Alexandra Burke You Found Me, The Fray Use Somebody, Kings Of Leon Run, Leona Lewis Broken Strings, James Morrison featuring Nelly Furtado Hollow Man, R.E.M. Blue, Cat Power Stop, Ryan Adams & The Cardinals Time Won't Let Me Go, The Bravery White As Snow, U2 Human, The Killers Someone To Save You, One Republic
I know it's a strange guess, but:
Blue In Green, Miles Davis
(OBS: Jeffries likes Miles Davis, that's why I included one of his songs. And I had to add 2 more guesses!)

Not sure if any of these songs were already used for eps....
Can One Day Change Your Life - Tom Geiger
Side - Travis
How to Save a Life - the Fray
Angel - Natasha Bedingfield
I'll Stand By You - the Pretenders
Mat Kearney - Breathe In Breathe Out
Sentimental - Porcupine Tree
Streets of Philadelphia - Bruce Springsteen
Going out on a limb for the episode ending song: Ending Song - wonderful life - Zucchero or by Lara Fabian

Thanks, Eduardo. I was going to go look today to make sure. I'll make some other selections before the show airs tonight!

I wouldn't even know what songs to guess, since I don't know what year they're pulling from. There haven't been too many well-known songs this year so far, since it's only early March.

There were no songs in the episode, except at the end. So there was really nothing to guess.

There was some songs by the Temptations... they even argued about it! (Vera & Jeffries fiddling with the radio at the beginning)

"I Wish It Would Rain" -- The Temptations "The Miracle" -- MasterSource Music " " -- (plays when Valentine is trying to convince Pops to buy a gun) "Across 110th Street" -- Bobby Womack "Down in the Valley " -- Otis Redding "Just A Thought" -- Gnarls Barkley "The Judgement" - Solomon Burke

What I meant was, the music in the show was ambient music in the background, it didn't have the same role that music normally does in the show. The only song that actually did, was The Judgment by Solomon Burke.

The rap song that's playing when Jeffries stops Valentine is a "MasterSource" song (i.e. stock music that you can buy for TV shows) You can listen to it here: www.mastersource.com/search/list/91226(hit "vocal" to preview -- the portion as used in the ep starts around the 30 second mark) I'm still trying to figure out the other music used... I love that Motown stuff, and I LOVED the music in thie ep!

On another note, I can't seem to access the MasterSource track...

Thanks TeleDetective for tracking those down!!!! It looks like the Mastersource link changes for some reason. If you want to hear it, the name of the track is called "The Miracle." Just put that in the search box and it'll be the first item in the results list.

Here's an isolated mp3 with that last "mystery song". I removed the center channel to remove the voices of the characters in the scene. But my lyric searches have turned up nothing. (I've been searching for the string "So far, So good", which sounds like the chorus to the song.) Anyways, here's the mp3, hopefully somebody can locate the title: www.kmrocks.com/audio/mystery_song_ep617.mp3(700k)
