If anyone belongs to any major CSI fan boards, it would be great to get this petition advertised. Has anyone done so? We're really going to need major numbers on this petition.

I've sent in an email to MaryD's (a major Xena site) So I'm waiting to hear if she will announce it. I'm not sure how much her site has changed and she may not be able to do so.

I found this info on the web abcmedianet.com/web/dnr/dispDNR.aspx?id=031009_07We're # 24 until now(better than #33 last season) However, in the results you can see some shows such as Dancing and American Idol with more than 1 slot so If we count that, COLD CASE IS STILL A SHOW WITH GOOD RATING ON TV We're doing better than other tv shows with higher budget like Heroes, Fringe or The 11th hour! Btw, The mentalist is # 7: oh yeah... It'll be renewed! I will make a list of only series (no reality or other type of show) 1. CSI-Las Vegas 2. NCIS(This TV Show has increased a lot) 3. The mentalist 4. Desperate Housewives 5. Criminal Minds 6. 2 and a half men 7. Grey's anatomy 8. CSI Miami 9. CSI NY 10. House(I hate this show) 11. Without a trace 12. 24 13. Lie to me 14. Lost 15. COLD CASE

Yes: I mean; The rating are not like in the first 4 seasons but we're doing WAY BETTER than other shows with 3 times Cold case's budget(Smallville, Heroes and Eleventh Hour)

Rating are good but, the cost of production is expensive which is why this show is in danger of cancelling

Yeah, but it seems that it brings its money back. The matter is how much the gain is but it doesn't damage the network... It's only a year more to go...
Btw only a month before the season finale and we don't know if it is the series finale...

They can use less music: they don't have to use a song for every flashback. Just 1 in the beginning flashback and 1 in the final montage. That's it

Or they could use cheaper music, too...forget, say, Nirvana or Pearl Jam or U2 etc etc & use lesser known music that still sets the tone of the period they're depicting but doesn't cost them as much to buy the rights for (which would also make it cheaper to eventually put out on DVD, you would think). And anyway, the economy being what it is, isn't it better to spend money on a show that already rates well, ie Cold Case, than on some new cheaper show that might completely tank? But then again I'm not a network executive, what would I know?

I agree with you tillace: But I'd prefer less music(just 2 songs per episode) with good artists... Let's see what happend

Good morning boys and girls! Hello, it's the Byrdman coming at you on this rocking Saturday morning! I hope that you all are doing well today. I was thinking about this subject this past week more and more.....was doing Google searches on it and could find nothing new whatsoever. Has anyone heard anything further about this since the story broke? Maybe we will have to wait until CBS renders a verdict (I have heard, and remember several times on many shows in the past) - May time frame maybe? Does anyone know when definitively the networks will be announcing shows' fates? Thanks for your attention.....again, just thinking this week. Take care and enjoy the new episode tomorrow night, boys and girls!

I haven't heard anything, I've been checking through various sources. I think we'll probably hear something either in the end of this month or the next.

Hello Eduardo, LII and Trublu! Thanks for your responses here, and thanks so much for that poll, Trublu! It is good to see that these people think that the show might be saved. But like you, I am just waiting some word from a reliable source on this. Everyone please keep your eyes and ears peeled as our show reaches a defining moment. Thanks again for getting back, guys. Have a rocking weekend!
