Cold Case has been going downhill since season 3. I don't see what new it could possibly offer. Exactly like WaT, it has run dry. They should have cancelled both shows when they were still above the average. Now they're just torturing once so brilliant show. So, you register to this sight just to tell us how much you dislike CC. I don't know...seems like a pretty big waste of time to me. I respect your opinion and everything but I thought this was a sight for people who like the show. In my opinion, season 6 was awesome and they have plenty more to offer and I can't wait to see season 7. If you don't like the show then save yourself an hour each Sunday and don't watch it.

That's some great news. They would've made a mistake had they had kept WaT over CC, CC still has pleanty more to give, whilst WaT had seriously run dry. It was a great show once though. In WaT, the pattern has been very clear; it's become more like a soap opera than a crime drama. But, I don't get that vibe from Cold Case, so I'm curious to know what knocks it down in your book.

Everyone has their own personal opinion and we all have to accept them, even if we might not really understand them. I've never watched Without a Trace, so I can't say anything to it. But I can say something to CC: I still love this series and like every season of it. Just my opinion.

I was only answering to 00bomber's post, because in my opinion Cold Case is not any better than WAT. I wasn't deliberately trying to hurt anyone's feelings. So excuse me if I did. And I never said that I dislike Cold Case. (One negative comment and I'm not a fan?) I just want it to have an ending that is worth watching. Ending that the show deserves. But because of the recent seasons, I'm not sure if it's going to happen. That's why I think that they should have cancelled the show earlier. And here Tuesday is Cold Case day.

In my opinion!, the show is not going anywhere anymore. Every single episode seems to have the same basic plot. The characters are not evolving. (And really. Cold Case is like a soap opera. How many men has Lilly dated since season 4?) There hasn't been anything new or worth watching in a long time. Seasons 1&2&3 had so many interesting & brilliant episodes that even though I haven't seen them in ages I can still remember what happened in them. (Now I can hardly remember what happened in last week's episode.) Compared to seasons 1&2&3, seasons 4&5&6 are failures. And I really miss the old Lilly Rush. Her "cometomywayandI'llknockyouout" attitude and the look that could kill. Kathryn Morris seems to be losing her character. (And I'm saying this even though I love Kathryn Morris. She is the only reason why I have kept watching the show.) Cold Case is just nowadays missing most of those elements that made it so good in the beginning. And I can assure you that I'm not the only one who feels so. Cold Case used to be one of the most watched shows here. Now it doesn't even make it to the top 20.

Seriously, I understand where you are coming from, minsku. I used to complain a lot around here but I've basically shut up. I've also come to expect less from the show in terms of "keeping it real". By that I mean at times the story builds up to this ending where the killing occurs and 'I feel nothing for the victim'. One of Cold Case's trademarks was making that part feel so real and personal. In recent seasons, 4-6 I don't feel that effect. Have I become so accustomed to the series that I just become desensitized or is the writing/directing/acting just unable to execute those scenes on a level that had been so successfully portrayed in the past?

^ "How many men has Lilly dated since season 4?" Lilly has dated exactly two guys since season 4 (Joseph (season 4) and Eddie (season 5 and 6)), that's not a lot if you ask me. "The characters are not evolving." Have you watched the season finale of season 6 yet? "And here Tuesday is Cold Case day." Cold Case airs on Tuesdays here, too I'm sorry you feel the way you do about Cold Case, but everyone has a right to their own opinion. I personally think it's a great show, even after six seasons.. And I'm really looking forward to a seventh season!

Now it doesn't even make it to the top 20. Actually Cold Case has never been out of the top 20, even last season.

But because of the recent seasons, I'm not sure if it's going to happen. That's why I think that they should have cancelled the show earlier. And here Tuesday is Cold Case day. I do apologize if I offended you at all in my post, that was not my intent at all. It just seemed like you were posting only to criticize the show when this is a fan site. I do agree that Cold Case had lost some, not a lot of its edge in season 5. Lilly didn't have the same spirit that she had in the earlier seasons. But I think in season 6 she was getting that back and she had more of a sense of humor and likability. And the finale for season 6 was just mind blowing. But that's just my opinion. I really don't see where it has become a soap opera and I really hope the writers don't turn it into one and I do hope they give it the ending it deserves, whenever it ends. And FYI, Lilly was with Kite in S-1, Ray in S-3, Joseph S-4 and Eddie in S-5. That's 4 guys in 6 years, that's better than I can say for some people I know. In S-4 there was a small love triangle (if you could even call it that) between her and Joseph and Ray but it didn't escalate into a full blown soap opera. So to me, CC still has way more to offer. I can't wait to see how Lilly handles her ordeal from the finale or how things go with her and her dad. And I want to find out about the rest of the gang, but like you, I'm pretty much all about Lilly (I admit it).

Have I become so accustomed to the series that I just become desensitized or is the writing/directing/acting just unable to execute those scenes on a level that had been so successfully portrayed in the past? That is exactly what the current episodes are missing. And the problem is definitely in the writes etc. Not in us ;D charla: I have seen the season 6 finale and I still think that the characters are not evolving. But that is just my opinion. longislanditalian2: I meant that Cold Case doesn't make it to the top 20 here in Finland. lillyfan: For me the whole Lilly-Joseph-Ray love triangle was too soapy. Season 4 already had lack of credibility and then they did that. First Lilly and Joseph were "happy" then Ray came and everything was over. Especially in seasons 4-6 the writers have brought many new relationships into the show and then pretty much after 3 episodes ended all of them. And it has happened over and over again. For me that is a soap opera. What comes to Lilly and her dad, I'm just not buying it. But, as I earlier said, I'm still gonna keep watching the show because Kathryn Morris is definitely worth watching. €duardo Del Roic€: Nice to meet you too Yes. I'm gonna shut up now.
