Who else has watched The Mentalist I just watched the first episode and I loved it!!!!! ;D
The 2 suspects were doers from Cold Case Roy Minard from "Hubris" John Smith from "One Night" (he was the doer here too)
It's excellent... It has a lot of comedy!!! I recommend this show

I don't mind it, but I'm not a fan of the characters (except for Simon Baker... And he's an Aussie!) Its as if the show writers and developers just looked up Cop show characters 101 and hired from that. There's the two comic relief guys, the pretty girl, the lead cop and the sexual tension between her and Patrick... Bleh. I did try watching it for a few weeks but couldn't really get into it; I'd rather watch Medium and Dexter both to get my fix of crime and psychic ability.

Lol, glad to see I wasn't the only one thinking this about the show and I'm a huge CRIME JUNKIE fan. I practically watch the eye(CBS) like 24/7 every night. It really did seem a little bland to me. The humor wasn't done very well, might have gotten a little chuckle for me. I prefer "The Closer" and "Lie To Me" over "The Mentalist". "The Closer" definitely mixes humor very well along with drama....TNT really does know drama .

I think it's supposed to start here in March, and I'll probably try it out and see if I like it. Although it's taking House's usual spot

The first episode was on TV here in Germany yesterday, but unfortunately I didn't have time to watch it. Instead, I called a close friend of mine who is very good at all these technical things. So he recorded it for me and I'll watch it as soon as I meet him again.

This has started over here now. I watched the first episode, and really enjoyed it. Great show, hope it stays as good as the Pilot and doesn't go downhill like a lot of shows do.

Well Bananapancakes: I have watched all the episodes and there are a few that are not that good but very few... Most episodes are even better than the pilot

Michael Weatherly mentions Simon Baker in his TV Guide interview ;D Article link: www.tvguidemagazine.com/ncis/michael-weatherly-speaks-930.html?&page=1How would you describe your look on the show?We went out and bought about 20 suits for me, and the whole point of them is they’re just a little too small. So Tony always looks like the guy who’s kind of outgrowing his clothes but he can’t afford to go buy new ones. They’re a little flashy, they’re a little too much, they’re trying too hard. It’s him, in a clothing nutshell. It’s the funniest thing in the world. Simon Baker would never wear this. Although I did do one episode where I tried to imitate him. I’m a little Mentalist crazy. And I did this whole episode where I was walking around doing my Simon Baker impression. The editors were saying, “What were you doing? We didn’t understand it.” I’m like “That’s my Mentalist impression!” CBS was like, huh? They cut around it... See, I think I’m on Flight of the Conchords, and everyone else thinks they’re on a proper legal—sorry, crime drama. Medical? What show is this?
