I was cleaning the other day and I had VH1 on my television. It was the weekly Top 20 countdown, and I found a little surprise. Mark Pellington ("Look Again," "Churchgoing People," "Best Friends") directed the new Foo Fighters video "Best of You."
I had seen the video once or twice before, but I had not noticed the credits in the beginning until the other day. It's a cool video that has a really interesting opening shot of a close-up of lead singer Dave Grohl's microphone, and then his profile enters the shot. The video is fast paced and cuts a lot of really amazing clips of video. It's a really nice piece of work. If anyone's interested in seeing it (I know it's increasingly more and more difficult to find music videos on VH1), the Top 20 airs this Friday at 6pm, Saturday at 9am, and Sunday at 8am on VH1.

Sounds good TV. I no longer have expanded cable ao I don't get to watch VH1 anymore. I do like his work very much. I missed him in S2.

Oh! I saw that TVFan, but I guess it didn't register with me that it was cold case's Mark Pellington. Anyway, it really is a good video. He did a good job.
