This is a 1951 case. Victim is Private Jimmy Tully, 17, a young Marine whose body's found in a dump during " Shore Leave" (excuse my ignorance but I've never heard of that so I don't know exactly what it means ) I haven't read everything so I'm not sure there's juicy character info but Vera's taking boxing lessons.

This is a 1951 case. Victim is Private Jimmy Tully, 17, a young Marine whose body's found in a dump during " Shore Leave" (excuse my ignorance but I've never heard of that so I don't know exactly what it means ) Shore leave is literally leave (as in a holiday) that sailors get when they return to the shore (as in land) after a tour of duty on a boat. Now all I need to do is come up with a Lilly/seamen joke I think there has to be a CC caption in it

Well, there's a reason for it. One of the characters in the episode is an old boxing teacher and he teases Vera about taking lessons.
