This is a 1964 case. Miriam Seeley, 22, victim of a "fatal accident" in Fairmount Park. Looks like she thought there was more in life than being a housewife, found something that gave her purpose and got in trouble because of it. Also, racism is implied.
Jeffries and Miller go on a roadtrip to Mississippi. And Vera's missing a cinnamon roll. *lol*

Jeffries didn't want to cross the "Mason-Dixon line" in "The Red and the Blue" so how are they gonna convince him to go down there now? I would guess it's gonna tie in with the 'implied racism' factor, also in the spoiler. Just a guess, though. But err... for the benefit of an ignorant European who never actually learned anything about America in school... what is this Mason / Dixon thing, exactly?

Effectively the joining boarders of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and West Virginia. It is likely to be a reference to fact that Pennsylvania abolished slavery before the other 3. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mason-Dixon_line

Thanks for that, RichE!
One of these days, I might actually learn to Wiki these things myself, before burdening other people.

I like they're going to Mississippi... BEAUTIFUL STATE! But again 1964? couldn't it be 1960/1961/1966/1967... we have never had cases from 1960's from those years

Looks real. I just checked and they indeed have a scene together into a bowling alley around the middle of the episode.

I read it in the sides, longislanditalian2 . I just can't stay away from those spoilers... At the risk of displaying my ignorance twice in one thread... what in the world are "sides", and where might one find them?

This article does a good job of explaining it: "Sides are unique pages, usually taken out of a script in order to help the actor prepare for the audition. The sides are the most important thing that helps the actor to rehearse the part. They are usually sent by the casting office to the actor or to his/her representative. In some cases the actor can download them himself as a pdf or word format, and print them. Many sites take money for this service. You can use this service for FREE at Actors Pages." Link: www.actinginthecity.com/articles/What%20are%20Audition%20Sides.htmlYou can go to www.nowcasting.com - they have sides for a lot of different shows, including Cold Case. You need to be a member in order to read them, but the registration is free

Thanks I'm glad that Lilly is doing something fun in her life, especially with Eddie. I'm kind of hoping now they will get together.
