CC Guest Stars I've seen recently

I've been meaning to let you all know, but I've seen some movies with CC guest stars recently. First, there is a movie from 1979 called "Meteor". It was a lot like "Deep Impact" and "Armageddon". Sean Connery starred in the movie with tons of others like Natalie Wood, Brian Keith, Martin Landau, and Henry Fonda as the President. In the movie, an asteroid is knocked out of the belt and heads to Earth. Splinters destroy various parts of the world and the main cast is trapped somewhere in New York City when a splinter hits there. Anyway, there was a guy who must have been in his 50s who looked awfully familiar. It took me a while. He played the older Nelson in "Factory Girls". I looked up his name and I've forgotten it. My dad told me he was in a lot of things a long time ago. I'll update this thread when I get it. Then, "Child's Play" was on. We all know this movie. Anyway, the detective investigating the death of Andy's babysitter who was killed by Chucky was Chris Sarandon, who played the older version of Adam Clarke in "Volunteers". So many of well known CC guests are up and comers, like Silas Weir Mitchell. But we forget there are some who were acting long before CC.

Yeah I have seen a lot of people in different movies and TV shows that have been on CC. I have also noticed that a lot of people that have been in CC eps. have also been in Without A Trace. They use a lot of the same people for some reason. But we all KNOW that CC is A LOT better! lol ;D

I always liked Chris Sarandon. Since I don't watch too much tv or see the movies I'm not seeing all these actors which in a way is good. After John Billingsly was on Cold Case I saw him on an ep of CSI. I was channel surfing and it was a scene and he was a really creepy character but it didn't mean anything to me since I don't watch that show. So, I'm glad to see the characters as they come to Cold Case then I have no prior impression of them. Some of the actos that have been around like Meredith Baxter, William Moses, Piper Laurie, Barry Bostswick, Chad Allen, etc... well they are good touches to the Cold Case eps.
