John Billingsley's New Show

I was reading Mike Ausiello's (from TVGuide.com) hilarious Press Tour Diaries, and I found out that the amazing John Billingsley (George Marks) is in a brand new ABC show called "The Nine." From TV.com:

Today 9 people face just such an unexpected twist when they are caught in a bank robbery gone wrong and have to endure a 52-hour hostage standoff that will leave two persons dead and 7 persons changed for the rest of their lifes and never be the same.They will be forever affected and intertwined because of theses 52-hours.

It stars Tim Daly, Kim Raver, Scott Wolf, Chi McBride and of course, Billingsley. It's from Hank Steinberg, the creator/executive producer of Without a Trace. "The Nine" premieres Wednesday, October 4th at 10 p.m. on ABC.

I've seen the trailers for this show ... looks really interesting. (Of course, every time I see John, I'm like, "Hey, it's George." LOL! )

Here's a link to the trailer on the ABC web site. You're right, though, the way he talks, his slightly off-kiler mannerisms are totally George!!!

ive seen the pilot, it is awesome!!! im thinking it'sjus like loswt but they arnt on an island, i will screencaps up soon for you guys to look at :-)

I'm kinda torn on this series actually. It features a lot of actors I know and like and has an exciting premise (the kind I usually get hooked on).

At the same time, I feel like I'd rather see John continue playing his role on "Prison Break". Anyone who knows the show knows his character is quite pivotal to the overall story and it would be quite silly, in my opinion, to write him out so soon. And given how the finale ended, it'll be downright silly if we don't see him again.

Though doing another show, on another network, filmed in another state (PB shot in Illinois last season and is moving to Texas this season, while I assume "The Nine" is shot in LA like most shows) would make his chances of appearing on both shows at once slim to none.

(I'd also like to see Kim Raver keep playing Audrey on "24")

Well, we'll see how this works out in the fall.

That does look pretty awesome! Very 'edge of your seat' kind of show. I am the same way as you LillyKat! Everytime I see John I always say "OMG it's George!" lol. And it always takes me back to those memories of some creepy serial killer almost killing Lilly! lol
But this does look like a very good show, I will consider checking it out! ;D
