We've already had Scotty show up on CSI NY, linking the show to all the CSI. Plus since "Without a Trace" did a crossover with Vegas, CC's link to that show as well. (All Bruckheimer series, of course).
Now they may have loaned out Scotty just for a bit, but the show itself's really never been touched by any of the others. I wonder, would something like this be a good idea? Would it work?
How about if Jack Malone and the FBI crew get a new lead on a person missing for several years. They follow his tracks to Philly, only to find he was killed there years ago. The plot then shifts to our heroes, who try to find out what happened to the missing person.
What do you think?

Of the 3 CSI shows NY is, I think, the best fit with CC. I'm not sure Lilly could stand being in the sunlight of Vegas or Miami It is a shame they made such a poor job of the cross-over they already did with Scotty in CSI:NY. He could have been anyone, the link to CC and Philly was minimal. Outside of CC and the CSIs I'm not very familiar with Bruckheimer's shows so I can't comment on them. A cross-over done right benefits everyone. We get a longer more involved story. Each show gets additional viewers they may not have had before, and hopefully keeps some of them (that is the point of the cross-over after all). No reason why it couldn't be done other than the extra work involved.

CC has such a different look to it that I really don't think a full-on crossover would bode well for the show. It has a very stylized look to it.
I, suprisingly would not want a crossover. Fanfic authors want to do it? Sure, give it a try. I just don't think it would translate well to the screen.

I think it would be cool to see a Cold Case/Without a Trace crossover.
When I first heard about the CSI/Without a Trace crossover, I didn't know how they'd pull it off, but the finished product wasn't bad.
As long as it's thought out & done well, I think a crossover would be nice.

I really would not like it if it's going to take away the CC way WAT is such a simple and #%$°% show... Maybe with CSI NY... Or Miami so they go to the beautiful and sunny Miami

I think a Miami crossover would be good -- imagine the possibilities with Vera -- wearing a white suit, driving a convertible, & wearing sunglasses. Then shining that "Vera Smile" at Eva Lu Rue or Emily Proctor.... it might work I really would not like it if it's going to take away the CC way WAT is such a simple and #%$°% show... Maybe with CSI NY... Or Miami so they go to the beautiful and sunny Miami
