I voted for "The Road" quite simply because in the larger picture, this episode showed the biggest change in Lilly's character all season--a change for the better that everyone has been waiting to happen.

I also really enjoyed "Running Around" and would have voted for it if "The Road" wasn't an episode in this season. There were many intriguing ideas and issues in "Running Around" that I feel was thoughtful and incorporated excellently in the episode. Specifically, to point out only a few ideas, I liked the teenagers coming-of-age storyline, the contrast between living a highly-structured lifestyle versus living in complete freedom, the excommunication/shunning concepts (and how it infers to Lilly and Christina's story), and finally, the issue of rape and the decision to abort or keep an infant borne out of that crime. I think this episode was the very first time I've ever seen a portrayal of a couple that keeps such an infant, and it really made me think about that situation even to today.
