Cold Case Music Video Competition The entries are in for our first themed competition: Struggles of a Philly Homicide DetectiveYou may select up to TWO favorite videos for the poll.
Voting is open through Sunday, September 21st.
The winner gets bragging rights with his/her video featured a top the Fan Art forum and a special designation under the winner's user name.GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE! Because it takes some time to watch all the videos, I'm going to write down what I think of them so I won't forget.  Entry #1 ~ I love the song, the beginscreen (and the final). A good way to start! The song really fits Lilly's character. You've chosen very good clips. It really reflects Lilly's struggle throughout all the seasons. Entry #2 ~ Haha, the shooting at the beginning was a convenient found. I like how you made the pictures go sort of white everytime. A pity about the thumbnaildata at some pictures. And it seems like your video isn't finished yet. The music stops so suddenly. Still, I wouldn't be able to make a video half your quality.  Entry #3 ~ A short one, but very good! It's exciting with the flashing lights and the music. That music really fits the video. Evyerthing is 'on the beat'.  A great job! Entry #4 ~ I didn't expect to find a Will video in here. But ofcoure he is also a Philly Homicide Detective with struggles! Although Lilly might look more obvious. I really liked this! It contained everything of Will's sadder and darker side. The song was well chosen and although the video was more than 3 minutes, it didn't get me bored. I watched it twice already. ;D Entry #5 ~ Interesting music choice. Not everybody likes Mika. I like some of his songs. You picked some of my favorite clips of Lilly and put them in your Music Video. I like it! Great job! Entry #6 ~ Beautiful song! Well chosen. I'm not a big fan of Bones (those other parts are form Bones, right?), though. I love how you started with that scene form the Woods. It's one of my favourites and it was a good choice to show it first, without the music playing already. Good job! Well, I've made my decision. This is going to be an exciting Contest. i hope more people will vote soon, because I'm curious what other people think about these entries. Terrific job everybody! Only Grey's Anatomy, Charmed and a lot of real life shows where people hurt eachother are popular.  And not with me. |
