I just watched The Snow Walker this week. It's about a bush pilot who agrees to transport a cirtically ill Inuit girl ( on a routine stop supply run). Well the plane goes down and they have to survive. Kinda ticked me off at the end what happened but I like some of these survivalist themes.

27 DressesI saw it in the theater with my friends & I liked it, so I rented it for my mom to see. It's about a girl who is "always a bridesmaid & never a bride." She's been in 27 weddings but hasn't found a guy for herself yet.

I just rented Mixed Nuts because it's a Christmas Movie and I have this thing where I wrap presents watching a Christmas Movie. And I love this movie (despite Steve Martin). So funny! Really well written. And I love Juliette Lewis. And Madeline Kahn is great in it.

All of the movies I rent I never watch. (They're mostly for my mom.) And movies that I do watch are ones that I buy. With that said, the last movie I purchased (I hope this counts) that I actually watched, was Dario Argento's "The Mother of Tears". It's the final part of this trilogy about the three mothers. (who are supposed to be these powerful, evil witches) I still have yet to watch Susperia (the first one) and Inferno (the second one.) The movie is basically about some chick who receives a magical shiny box, and her and some other chick open it. Suddenly Rome is seeing an increase in crime, and the protagonist discovers that she has epic powers. : : ; ; ; ;; ; ; ; ;
Even though they prove rather useless in the final scene.

^^ Really? I find her very irritating. Any, the last movie I rented was Up Close and Personal. It probably wasn't the best decision, considering I was already upset.

The Notebook. Romance. It wasn't the best I've ever seen but it was unique. If you are a romantic, I do recommend giving it a view. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Although I felt they could have cast better for James Gardner. Can't tell you anymore why, though, as it will spoil somewhat as to his identity.

^Aw, that movie's cute. Have you read the book? Anyway, last movie I rented was....oh, yeah, Casino Royale. I was one of the "clever" ones who went to see Quantum of Solace at the cinema the day it came out, not having seeing CR before. I didn't get confused, though, what with having CR described almost scene-for-scene to me by my friend just before going into the cinema. I'm not keen on Daniel Craig as Bond, though. I mean, he's okay, but I much prefer Pierce Brosnan. Although he's kind of scary singing in Mamma Mia, jeez. Love that movie. I think I went a little off topic...

Today my sister rented Epic Movie. Boring. There were some funny parts, but nothing very comical. The most exiting thing was when the dvd started to make a strange noise and my sister said "Everything is shaking": it was an earthquake. Then we finished to see the movie, which was only a sad comedic satire.

S.W.A.T. I really didn't think I'd like it; not because of the plot or anything, but because I don't like Colin Farrell, but I actually really enjoyed the film and ended up re-watching later in the day. It's nothing amazingly special, but if you're looking for a fun film to watch, I'd recommend it.

A few days ago I watched "Batman Begins". I really liked it, because it's not a typical action or fantasy-movie and I admire Batman himself for being brave enough to deal with his past and take advantage out of all those bad things that happened to him when he was a little boy. All in all a very good movie.
So I bought both "Begins" and "The dark knight" and I'll watch "The dark knight" tonight. ;D

I borrowed "The Covenant" from a friend, which I guess counts as renting. Anyway, I've been wanting to watch it for a while, as two people have recommended it to me. I only got through about 45 minutes of it, though. All I can say is, if you don't like spiders, don't watch it. Seriously, that's why I stopped and, okay, they may have only been in that one part (and a little part earlier that didn't really count), but it was enough to stop me watching. It's great, I can sit through the Saw franchise and other films like that fine, but spiders...urgh.

Bruce Almighty. Quite thought provoking. What if we were given godly powers? What is truly important after all is said and done.

Affinity (British Drama) Highly recommend it. It's about spiritualism in the 1800's... The film centers on Margaret (Anna Madeley), a wealthy young woman suffering from depression after the death of her father and the rejection of her best friend and former lover who's gone and married her brother. Searching for a new way to get through her days, she signs up to become a "lady visitor" at a bleak women's prison, Millbank.
A mysterious girl named Selina (Zoe Tapper) soon catches her eye. Selina claims to be a spirit medium a person who channels spirits and the souls of the dead. She's also serving a long sentence after being convicted for murder, but she claims the murder was the work of one particularly strong and malicious spirit called Peter Quick.www.imdb.com/title/tt1116182/

"The Skulls" (2000) featuring actors: Craig T. Nelson("The Poltergiest"), William Petersen("CSI"), Joshua Jackson("Dawson Creek"), Hill Harper("CSI:NY"), and Paul Walker("Fast and The Furious"). I think you would like this movie somewhat, Naj The plot lagged a little with the short romance between Joshua Jackson's character and the "girlfriend", Chloe. Other than that, it was a fairly great suspense/thriller about the most known notorious Yale's secret enshrouding its aluminis. Might I just add that we all know for a known fact that George W. Bush is part of the "Skulls" . He's never denied it actually, strange. In one of his statements, he jokingly says that if I tell you what goes behind the Skulls, I'll have to kill you. Plot Synopsis of the movie from IMDB: Deep within the hallowed walls of Ivy League's most prominent campus exists a secret society where power and elite are bred. Only a few are chosen to join where Presidents are groomed, wealthy bloodlines bond, and plots thickened. For Luke McNamara, an invitation to join the prestigious secret college organization, The Skulls, is a dream come true. Until murder befalls another student, and Luke finds himself one student amidst the sinister and well-connected brotherhood and now he must summon the strength to stand alone against immeasurable odds.
