I'm just wondering if there is anyone else out there like me.
I don't see romance between ANY of our core group. I don't see any romantic relationships at all.
Of course, I easily see where people would consider L/S, but really, I just don't see our characters having romances with each other.
Mostly because they all live pretty rich/complicated/crazy lives away from each other. And that is part of what I love about the series. We get a great group dynamic from our core group, but they exist outside of their jobs. They have lives that lead to love and hurt and friendships.
I adore the friendship relationships the group has, but I just dont' see the romance.
Is there anyone else out there like me? Please say I'm not alone.

I first thought the same thing. But the shippers on this forum kinda convinced me. I'd really like it if Lilly and Scotty would be together in the end. (not now, at the end. Because I always dream I am a homicide cop, and then I am together with Valens. ;D)
Kat and Vera are just funny, but there is no love between them. They each have there own lives outside work and I don't think those lives will get together, ever.

I have to say because of my Vera-love that the Kat/Vera speculation is especially annoying to me. But, that's my persona bias, I know. *sigh*
I don't think I'd mind if the series ended with Lilly and Scotty, but yea, like you said, not right now.

I don't see any group romance. I'm not a shipper for anyone in "Cold Case". I think of "Cold Case" as a non-canon show. I just watch it for Lilly, the cases, and the music at the endings ;D. I'd guess that's why all of my Cold Case videos are Lilly centric, and if they feature Joseph in them...it's because I use Joseph and Lilly as an older version of Logan/Veronica(LoVe, greatest shipping name ever!!  ) from "Veronica Mars". |

In my opinion, after JAG a love story between the main characters is too predictable, and I've never seen something more than a great friendship between Lilly and Scotty or anybody else in the group.
I prefer the romance out of the group: I have a feeling that it's more true if Vera fall in love with his neighbour, Jeffries with a beautiful black singer, Scotty always with wrong women, and Lilly with Kite, Ray, Joseph or Eddie.

Even besides a work romance, I don't really see Cold Case as a romantically enduring show. I think it is part of the reason that most of the relationships we've seen on the show haven't lasted. Work romances are always awkward, especially since many of the characters are more like brothers/sisters than boyfriends/girlfriends.

I totally agree with the fact that the character are more like siblings than lovers. It wouldn't make any sense if that had any office relationships. |

I think it would be weird if they were to couple up the group.I mean i think lilly/scotty would be a possibilility, but i like their friendship more. i like how the whole group all has such a good frienship. Kat could call scotty when she needed help and scotty dropped by to check on lilly etc. Also i love how they all give each other a hard time. I think relationships within the group kind of mess that up. <3 Sam |
