I wrote a page for Lloyd Chester, the stiff fellow in glasses who thought Hawk knocked up his daughter in "Static", after reading that Robert Symonds, who played the older Lloyd, died last year. Typically if they're not arrested or dead, I put "alive" in a character's status. But since Symonds is no longer alive, I put "Unknown" since it's possible you could consider Lloyd to have died as well. Usually I only do that if a character only appeared in flashbacks and are never seen in the present, or if I don't know if they were arrested or not (i.e. Casey and Coach Pruit in "Stand Up and Holler" or Nick Logan in "Blank Generation"). coldcase.wikia.com/wiki/Lloyd_Chester

Todd, I think I could help a lot on the Cold Case Wiki since I have watched all Cold Case episodes. I have seen there are several things I could modify or add. However, I have no screenshot/pictures for those characters? Could I add info for those characters? and I would like to know the rules about how to edit and add info Thanks =]

Well I've done some work on other TV wiki, including the Star Trek and 24 wikis, so I'm monstly going by how things work there. First of all, I'd suggest getting a username, if you don't already have one. It's fast, free, and it's just a lot easier to know who's doing what. The main characters still need a lot of work. I admit, I've kind of steered clear of doing much with them. As for guest or recurring characters, take a look at some of the links I've given in some of the earlier posts in this thread. I've also finished the following in the meantime: Phil Abruzzi, Janice Warner, and Emma Stone (from "Torn") coldcase.wikia.com/wiki/Philippa_%22Phil%22_Abruzzicoldcase.wikia.com/wiki/Janice_Warnercoldcase.wikia.com/wiki/Emma_StoneKiril and Linda Boyka AKA "Nachalnik" and Yuri (from "Cargo", in fact any of the characters from that episode are a good example) coldcase.wikia.com/wiki/Kirilcoldcase.wikia.com/wiki/Linda_Boykacoldcase.wikia.com/wiki/YuriHarvey SawyerĂ˝ from (from "The Good Death") coldcase.wikia.com/wiki/Harvey_SawyerHarold Dixon (from "Offender") coldcase.wikia.com/wiki/Harold_DixonAbe Monti (from "Detention") coldcase.wikia.com/wiki/Abe_MontiSome simple things: -Keep it "in universe". Don't write things like "so and so was the victim in episode 2x04". It should be more like "so and so was a janitor who was murdered in 1987 when he tried to help a teen runaway." That also means you should write their story as it actually happened, and not in the order that we, the viewer, saw. -Be sure to mention the year things happened, both in the past and in the present. (i.e. if they were questioned by detective in the second episode of the second season, then they were questioned in 2004). -Start each article with the subject's name in bold. Insert links to any person or place you mention (even if they have no article yet), but only link to them the first time. If Lilly gets mentioned six times in an article and every mention is a link, that just looks messy. Wikipedia doesn't do tht. Any other questions, drop me a line either here or there. Thanks. ;D Edited to add: Forgot to mention, you should usually watch an episode over again, if you can, just before writing an article about a character, or at least watch the parts where they show that character or talk about him/her.

Thanks Todd, I will try to help you as soon as I get a break from college and work I don't know how to use HTML to insert links and Bold... There should be buttons at the top of the space where you write, just like there is here on the board. Just highlight the right text, then press the right button.
