The High School Years!((modern times))

I only put Lilly in high school now because I have so many songs from the millenium that I want to use.

The basic story in Lilly throughout high school, and it takes place now.

I created this story for my writing pleasure.

In this way alternate universe fanfic, Lilly is a high school student at Briarwood Private School. It takes place in the new millenium, which is why it's alternate universe.

And I'm starting the story over. I also created this story for my writing/reading pleasure, it's more of a time diversion.

Lilly Rush walked up the steps to her high school. She waited for her friends, Amy and Rachel, to catch up with her. As she waited, she inspected her outfit. Her pink halter was perfect, without wrinkles, and perfectly laid out over her denim Abercrombie mini skirt.

Amy and Rachel ran up the steps to greet her. Lilly looked at Amy's outfit in disgust. Khakis were SO out. She would have to be sure to tell her that.

"Ehmagawd!" Rachel exclaimed. "You. Look. Awesome.!" She admired Lilly, who was the school's fashonista/party princess/queen bee that NO ONE would mess with. Lilly smiled at Rachel. "I know, right?" she mused.

Lilly walked into the hallway of the school. There were a lot of new kiosks, which included a Virgin Drinks , a Jamba Juice, and a Panera Bread. She skipped over all of these kiosks and went straight to the Starbucks coffee.

"Lilly, you are addicted to Starbucks." complained Amy as Lilly sipped her Venti Vanilla Frappucino. "Maybe you should tone down the Starbucks this year. You know, don't be so addicted?"

"Yeah, well maybe you should get over your addiction to khakis, because they are so out. That is, unless you want to be an LBR." Lilly snapped. Amy looked away from Lilly so she wouldn't see the tears welling up in her eyes. I used to be her favorite, Amy thought.

"What's an LBR?" Rachel asked. Lilly stared at Rachel. "I didn't tell you?" she asked. "It means Loser Beyond Repair." she said. "I made it up!"

"Genius...." Amy irritaitingly replied.

Amy decided to shake off Lilly's harsh comments. She scanned the room for a new topic to start. Suddenly, Amy saw Alicia Rivera, Lilly's most hated, walking up to her. Amy turned over to Lilly, and signaled that Alicia was coming.

Alicia sauntered over to the table, and looked at Rachel. "Guess what Rachel!" she sweetly said.

Rachel didn't look at Alicia. She just replied "What?"

Alicia smirked at Lilly. "Cameron likes you, Rachel. He's asking you out today!"

Rachel looked up from the gift she was wrapping.

"What?" Cameron was Lilly's crush. He could so not like her. If he really did, her social life would be ruined forever.

Lilly glared at Alicia.

"Alicia," she asked. "Are you a female dog?"

"No...?" Alicia confusedly replied.

"Because you're acting like a real BI***!"

[Khaya]

Lol, Lilly a fashionqueen? Can't imagine that!

You get those questions like: What if Lilly was really like that at school?

Alicia backed down and sat at the table to tell Rachel more.. Lilly smirked, and asked Rachel:

"Who's that gift for?" Rachel proudly smiled. "Oh, it's for Jessica, you know, because she's absent."

"Oh yeah," Lilly said. She scanned the cafeteria, wanting to find a distraction from the fact that Cameron liked Rachel. Or Alicia said so. Rachel held up the gift.

"Do you like how I wrapped it?" she said. Lilly looked at it and was shocked. It was awesome. Only a proffesional could have done something like that.

"OMG," Alicia said. "Have you been hanging out with 50Cent lately?"

"No...?" Rachel replied.

"Then where did you learn to wrap?" she proudly stated.

Lilly snapped her head over to Alicia. "Alicia, are you a poor dressmaker?" she asked.

"No..." Alicia fell for Lilly's trap.

"Then why are you ripping off my material?"

Amy and Rachel burst out in laughter.

"Actually, I got a job gift wrapping once, just for over the summer."

Alicia scoffed. "That's a stupid job."she said.

"It's better than the one on your nose." Lilly snapped.

Alicia gave up. "Whatevs. I'm leaving you bi***es." She stumbled away.

Lilly, Amy and Rachel exchanged glances. They all burst out in laughter.

Lilly looked across the street at Perkington Acadamy for boys, where Cameron went to school. They were good friends, and usually walked home from school together. She was planning on asking him about Rachel. After she saw him get out, she ran straight up to him.

"Hey, Cameron, who do you like?" She immediately demanded.

"Ah..." Cameron hesitated. "I'll tell you if you tell me."

Lilly's heart did a backflip. Should I tell him? she thought.

"Ready?" Cameron asked.

"Ready." Lilly replied. I think I'm going to tell him, she thought.

"On the count of three," she said.

"One, two, three" they both said.

"You" Cameron said.
"You" Lilly said.

OMG!!!!!!! Alicia totally lied! Lilly thought.

"So if I like you, and you like me, I guess that means we're going out." Cameron said with a quiet tone.

"Yeah, I guess," Lilly replied. She hugged Cameron.

"So, are you going to the party tonight at Jessica's house?" Cameron asked.

"Given!" Lilly replied.

"Well, meet me out in the woods by her house at the party. He winked.

Lilly smiled. "Sure."

Lilly walked away feeling extremely happy. She was going to be in the woods with Cameron. Who knew what was going to happen?

I LOVE the idea of a Lilly in HS story. And I can see Lilly as a private school brat. You do it really well. Except, in CC reality, she went to a public school and got free breakfast cause her mom couldn't pay for school lunch. This was way back in CC season 1 and I really love how she came from poverty and neglect in the show. But I really like this alternate Lilly adolescence you've shown us. Makes me want to write an alternate one to go with it-- with a free-lunch, neglected, outcast, tough-ass Lilly for a fun comparison.

I'll have to see how my muse feels about it. LOL

LOL, thanks, michelle. I'm one for totally alternate, ALTERNATE universe Lilly stuff. Have you read my other fic in which she is a witch? That one isn't as devoloped as this one. i have an excellent idea for a fic, though. I'll post it later.

It's called True Love's Kiss, and no one's responded, so I've kinda lost the inspiration a little. I had a few funny moments pictured in my head, but I can't seem to string them together.

The new one will not be as faliure-ific, I promise!

Lilly Rush awoke with a start to her alarm clock. Flo Rida's hit, Elevator played through the speakers. "Damn," Lilly mumbled, "last night was a total rager..." She got out of bed and walked to the window. She gazed out at the massive land her mother owned. And there's another party tonight... Lilly thought. Suddenly, a ping came from her computer. Lilly walked over.


heygurrll: Ready to do it all again tonight?

Lilly smiled. It was one of her best friends, Alicia Bradley. Lilly quickly responded to the message.

xpartygirlx: Hell yeah! Are you bringing Josh with?

Josh Hotz was Alicia's "on-again/off-again" boyfriend. They had been in that cycle since sophomore year.

heygurrll: No, we broke up.

Lilly rolled her eyes. Off-again.

heygurrll: What about you? Are you just gonna mingle?
xpartygirlx: Given! Do you honestly think I would go to a party with a date anymore? I learned my lesson Freshman year!

Lilly looked back upon the mortifying event.

Lilly took the dance floor with her date, Eli Blake. As soon as Eli started dancing, Lilly had started to regret her decision of a date. He danced like a total spaz. "Eli, if you dance any faster, you'll experience time travel!" Lilly exclaimed. However, Eli could not hear her. He was too divulged into his spaztic dancing. People were starting to stare. If word got out that she was his date, she would be ruined. She backed away, starting slowly, then gradually breaking out into a full sprint. She practically flew into the house, then upstairs to the bathroom. She whipped out her cell phone to call Dean, her driver. "Dean, pick me up." She said into the phone. 10 minutes later, she was on her way out of the party.

Lilly shuddered. Never again. She thought.

heygurrll: Well, I gotta bail. I have to buy an outfit for your party. Laytah!
xpartygirlx: C ya!

heygurrll has signed off

Lilly stared at her computer screen, until she got a notification.

"Josh_is_HOTZ" has signed on


It's Josh.... Lilly thought.

Josh_is_HOTZ: Hey
xpartygirlx: Heyyy
Josh_is_HOTZ: I'm still invited to the party tonight, right?
xpartygirlx: Well..... it depends.
Josh_is_HOTZ: Dude, I promise I won't hassle Alicia or anything.
xpartygirlx: Hmmmmmmmmm.........
Josh_is_HOTZ: I could hook you up with Beyonce tickets, too!
xpartygirlx: Tempting........
Josh_is_HOTZ: Aw, come on! I'll do anything!
xpartygirlx: Fine, you can come.
Josh_is_HOTZ: Yeah!
xpartygirlx: You just have to work as one of the waiters, no pay.
Josh_is_HOTZ: WHAT?!?!?!
xpartygirlx: Hey, I never said it was going to be easy! And I seem to remember you saying you'd do anything!
Josh_is_HOTZ: I never said I'd serve tables!
xpartygirlx: Too bad, so sad!
Josh_is_HOTZ: What!?

Lilly signed off. She had to start getting ready. After all, she had to look spectacular! And this was bound to be a night to remember.

A) She is a teenager in Gina's story
B) It's an AU
C) Gina is a teenager that is just having fun
D) It's her own writing for her own personal enjoyment and for others that may enjoy the "quirky" style like Michelle and Khaya.
E) You know if you really don't like this story, you don't have to read or comment on it at all.

F) Sorry if that seemed rude, but i'm only looking out for Gina.
