This is a 2005 case. Victim is 8 month-old max Chapin, who died in the fire of the apt building where he lived with his mother. The death is first ruled out as accidental and blamed on her since she wasn't in the apt when the fire started.
When they talk to the mother, she says she's seen her son at the park but obviously they don't believe her.
Eddie Saccardo is back in this one.

Is this by chance the Season Finale? Is there any mention of Lilly's mother

I don't think this is the season finale, it's a bit early for that. And no mention of Lilly's mother.

I was wondering if it was the finale as well. The original reports that we got said that CC would return with 5 new episodes. We left off with 5.13 "Spiders," so that leaves 5.14, 5.15. 5.16, 5.17 and 5.18 -- totaling five. Hopefully, this isn't the finale, but my suspicions are that it is. On a totally unrelated note, I hope they change the title to this one. It just isn't working for me.

I'd like to know a little more about this episode, just a tiny bit. Not enough to know the whole episode

Oh no! Another 2000's case. There has been eleven 2000 and late 1990 cases this season. And there is only 18 episodes. I think the writers should get their heads on straight.

Maybe because Philly has more recent homicide increase over the last couple of years. Therefor a lot more unsolved cases. It's probably based on that or that it's a money issue

Hehe, I like that The Reverend Bizarre. Made me chuckle.
I bet this could be a tough case for Lil. With such a young victim and this new dude coming in and all. I'm expecting good things from this ep!

IDK!! I'm just glad we have SOME.... ;D

Yeah, I saw that coldcasegirl. They apparently meant after Andy in C Minor. It confused me at first, though, since we know there are at least 5 written according to our wonderful spoiler queens here at LA.

They've had young victims before and it hasn't seemed to have gotten to her (i.e., Baby Blues). But I assume you're getting at the need for Lilly drama there? Yeah, I get that. It's entertaining. I think that after 5.15 they might be done with it for the season (and if that's true, then they're probably also done with for the rest of the series, because we know how the CC writers are about continuity : .
