Don McManus, the supremely nasty Mr. Freely in last season's "Fly Away" episode, was the counsel opposing James Spader in last night's "Boston Legal" opener.

McManus (as noted, the villainous social worker in CC's supreme "Fly Away" episode) was the doctor's protective spouse on last night's sex-change "CSI."

He was also on Jack and Bobby a few weeks back, playing a veteran professor, accused of sexual harassment.

I went to see National Treasure today (much better than the critics would have you believe) and Don McManus showed up in two scenes. He has maybe three lines but it was still strange to see him as I always think of him as Mr. Freely.
