I would love to hear some Elvis Presley on CC, and this would be a good ep for it. Don't know if they'd be able to get the rights, though. I know they've used Elvis covers before, but have they ever gotten the real thing?

According to my semi-comprehensive source of Songs Used in CC Episodes, they've used the Elvis versions of "Can't Help Falling In Love" (Devil Music) and "That's All Right, Mama" (Committed)... the latter of which at least is definitely a cover, as you pointed out.
I do agree with your general point; given how enormous the guy's oeuvre is, how influential he was, and the importance of music in CC, it's a wonder they've not used more of his stuff.
Also, to be honest, even if it is just his interpretations of other people's songs that they have the rights to, that'd still leave them with a huge scope of his stuff, since he did perform (and make famous) a LOT of covers.
Personally, I'd love to see them use his cover of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" for one of their closing montages.
[edited this post a few dozen times to try and make it coherent, sorry.]
