Maybe I can help to fresh up your memory, DF. The underscore had something disturbing, catching very good IMO the situation of the boy, how things irritate him, and how little things smoothed his mind. So Saving Sammy is my choice too.

Hmm... Since I normally don't pay attention to the underscore, I will abstain here. I think it's one of those things that if done well, it doesn't attract my attention to itself and simply enhances the acting and the scene. I'd probably notice it more if the underscore was bad and inappropriate to the moment, so I guess Michael Levine is doing an excellent job!! "Lonely Hearts" did have some good music in it that I noticed in the re-run. I'll pay more attention to the underscore when seeing "Saving Sammy" again, too.
