Best of Season 4 Awards - PLEASE READ 1st

Hello everybody!

It's that time of year again! It seems like just yesterday that we were all trying to come up with our nominations for the various categories for the Season 3 awards, and now here we are embarking on another awards' season. Things are going to work the same as they did last summer. Beginning May 28th, we'll open a category a week. Once the category is open, you may begin submitting your top 5 picks in that category. Here's a breakdown of the rules:

*A new category will be opened each Sunday. Older categories will NOT close, so feel free to "catch up" on opened categories at any time.

*You may submit UP to 5 nominations for each category

*Be sure to read the instructions carefully for each category. Instructions will be posted at the top of each category post.

*Have fun! This is a chance for the show to get a real breakdown of what we liked/didn't like from season 4.

At the end of the nominating process, we'll post the final polls where the top 5 nomination-getters will battle it out for the 3nd Annual Best of the Season Awards!! Any questions? Post them here.

I have been thinking about some nominations for best guest actor and actresses.

My fear though, is that recurring actors will dominate these categories, which doesn't seem completely fair since they had multiple episodes to leave an impression as opposed to characters who did the same in only one. It seems especially unfair when some of them, such as Meredith Baxter and Kenneth Johnson appeared and were nominated last year.

What do you think?

I agree toddsmitts, but we tried breaking it up after S2 and it just seemed to confuse everyone. I know that I personally won't be choosing for too many recurring guest stars. There were a lot of awesome episode guests that I want to nominate. Hopefully, it will work out fairly. If not, we'll have to reevaluate for next season. Thank you for pointing this out.

Since I have to work early on Mondays, I'll probably open up the categories on Sunday evenings. So, Least Favorite Episode is now open. Of course, previously opened categories will remain so during the duration of the nomination process.
