I thought I'd post a note in this folder ...
As some of you know, on a whim after an ongoing discussion about one of Kathryn Morris' older projects, and out of my own frustration with the overly depressed mess Lilly Rush seems to have become these last two seasons but of whom was NOT ORIGINALLY this down in the dumps / incapable of dealing / seemingly stuck in an endless downward spiral of Lord only knows what, I created my current signature:
I also adjusted my avatar message text.
There are a few of you out there who are in agreement with the fact Lilly needs to lighten it back up (including the actress portraying her). Whether Team CC is in agreement I guess is yet to be determined. I would hope they would be, but alas, who knows.
Since there are a few of you who would like to see Lilly get her life back, if anyone would like to use my signature as their own to show their support for the idea, feel free to do so. You can credit where appropriate (though the image is already marked with my name, so alas, you don't have to double-credit - LOL!)
Also, I wanted to take the opportunity to encourage all of the talented avatar and signature makers out there to come up with their own versions in support of the campaign (since I don't have time at the moment to come up with some different versions of avatars/banners).
Since I coined the slogan, and for consistency sake, the only guidelines I'd offer are:
1) Make your avatar and/or signature with some version of Lil' being happy, smiling, goofy ... something NOT making her seem as if she just woke up from the worse nightmare of her life - LOL!
2) Keep the slogan consistent: Give Lilly Her Life Back Campaign (for avatars, you can abbreviate into something like Give Lil' Life Campaign)
3) Keep the slogan colors consistent: reds/whites
Other than that, go for it! Post your work in this thread - I'd love to see what others come up with! And if you want to show your support without having to give up your existing signature and/or don't want to use a signature, you can just post the "Give Lilly (Her) Life (Back) Campaign" verbiage in your signature (and you can link it over to this thread if you'd like).
Who knows ... maybe Team CC will listen.
(And if no one wants to do anything, and instead, just say to themselves, "There goes LK again, on some stupid tangent about Lil'," ... hey, that's OK. LOL! I at least wanted to post a note since a few of you have told me you like the idea. )
