Oh thanks, TV.
I haven't been following the schedule anymore. Still a 6 am time slot. It's definitely worth setting the VCR. I thought the first season was well written.

I dug up some old tapes today (blame a boring Sunday) and I came across the few episodes of this series that I saved. Figured I'd bump up this thread for everyone who hasn't had a chance to discuss Kathryn's role in this series. I also did a quick check and it seems that no nets are rerunning this one right now. It's too bad there aren't screen caps out there. The final episode has some great Kathryn scenes. That low-cut little black dress (with the boots) would be sure to send RichE into one of his system overloads!

I would definitely like to see KM's role in this series. I have yet to do so, and though it's on my list, no one is re-running it at the moment and/or not available on DVD. Argh! Oh well. One day, perhaps. Thanks for the bump up in the thread TVFan ...

That low-cut little black dress (with the boots) would be sure to send RichE into one of his system overloads! Oh thanks! Now I HAVE to see this show. Even if it takes forever to find PWoG never made it to the UK that I'm aware of. No sign of DVDs of it anywhere. Looks like Kathryn was only in the pilot, as a pilot ;D , and in the last 10 episodes of season 1 (out of a total of 3). I've done some web trawling and come up with 4 clips on YouTube that contain Kathryn, albeit very briefly. I've made downloadable clips of each of them. - 3.6MB, Pensacola Wings Of Gold - Lost Shipment - Clip 05 - 4.6MB, Pensacola Wings Of Gold - Lost Shipment - Clip 06 - 3.3MB, Pensacola Wings Of Gold - Pilot - Clip - 3.4MB, Pensacola Wings Of Gold - Intro I've listened to a couple of the audio files on the site that Naj pointed out on the first page of this thread. "It's time, let's do it" is about to become my new ringtone Love the decorating mishap pics at the bottom of the Farewell page on that site too.

Thanks so much RichE, I've never seen her in this. I think Naj, was mistaken it was JM that was in the last episode of season 1.

That "decorating mishap" scene is very cute. Nice find with the caps, RichE. I'll try to work on making some caps on the little black dress scene (I'm working off of VHS, so I can't promise anything too high quality). I might be able to load the scene on the net, but I can't make any promises. I'm not so good with the VHS format, but I will certainly try my hardest. Oh, and Kathryn was in every episode (at least as far as I remember). She was a series regular.

What ever you can manage will be greatly appreciated That's good news. I was going by what IMDb said, but they are way off on Kathryn's appearances in The Mind Of The Married Man (she's in 4, not 2), so they are not to be trusted. Thanks TVFan.

How much do you love me??? I uploaded not 1, not 2, BUT 3 clips from the final episode. Actually, it turns out that it wasn't as difficult as I thought. Click the screencap below to go to the You Tube video clip of Kathryn and Salvator Xuereb's best moments (from the finale). They are in order, so they should make sense for those who haven't seen the show (WARNING: they are spoilerish). Again, my apologies for the crappy VHS quality. AJ and Annalisa Plan their DateThe Mission/Date (a.k.a. The Little Black Dress Scene)The "Decorating Mishap" Scene (TM RichE)

How much do you love me??? I don't know yet. That's a bold start, I hope you can back that up Apparently you can Sooooooooo cute I've never been a fan of Tuesdays, but I may just have to revise my opinion. What a way to start the day. Breakfast will never be the same again, and neither will my computer, I'll be picking bits of cereal out of this keyboard for weeks ;D Thanks so much TVFan (one of my rare double-hugs, saved for special occasions, I think this qualifies) No need to apologise. VHS is never going to give good quality clips. The important thing is you made them. And now the inevitable bit: Who had the idea of putting Kathryn in cut-off jeans (and the short little black dress of course) ? Genius. I hope the producers of Cold Case are looking. See what resources you have available to you. Perhaps when Lilly lightens up a bit she could move to the suburbs and paint her white picket-fence. To answer your question: how far is it from the UK to Washington DC? That's how much

To answer your question: how far is it from the UK to Washington DC? That's how much That's a lot of love! It should be reserved for Kathryn, though, or apparently, PWOG's wardrobe department. I'm glad they brightened your Tuesday, RichE. And I'm very honored to receive the rarely given double smiley. Of course, I can't take much credit for this -- it's all Kathryn (and that "genius" wardrobe department). Your poor computer! I suppose it didn't stand a chance, though. I love the part in the Little Black Dress scene where she trips and almost wipes out on the floor before she answers the door for AJ. It's so reminiscent of Lilly bumping into the trashcan when Kite tried to kiss her in "Hubris." Or rather, that trashcan scene is reminiscent of this one since this one came first, but you know what I mean.

Okay, I may have to one up (or two up?!) main man RichE and give a quadruple double-hug acknowledgment to you, TVFan, for these fabulous clips! So. Much. Kathryn. Goodness. This is the side of her (acting-wise) we rarely see these days given she is on emotional lockdown with Lilly's perpetual state of misery. As we know (and lament - LOL!), Lil' was much lighter in the early days. Though I wonder if we'll ever get back to some of that lighter fare of the Lil' and Kite era for CC, it's at least refreshing to see Kathryn in roles like this (even if they are older) as it continues to showcase her range for people who only know her from CC. She actually IS really good at being comedic, which actors universally say is always much harder to do than drama. I definitely am looking forward to the upcoming Assassination of a High School President as KM's role will not be anything like Lilly. I LOVE the fall-over-the-couch sequence! Definitely right up there with the CC "Hubris" bump-into-the-trash-can moment! So do we start a petition to the CC wardrobe team for Lil' in the cut-off jean/shirt need-to-paint-my-living-room look? I think we could sell it as a whole mom-died-in-my-house-need-to-change-it-up-start-fresh-get-over-myself kind of thing ... Kidding ... kidding ... THANK YOU AGAIN, TVFan! Makes me really wish I could catch up on the whole PWOG first season. P.S. I know we always compliment Kathryn's fair-skin, but the girl can wear a tan just as well. It was good to see her with some "sun," and even the make-up was more natural/earth tone ... nice change.

That's a lot of love! It should be reserved for Kathryn, though, or apparently, PWOG's wardrobe department. Yes, but I presume they are both in LA which is even further from the UK than DC is. I've definitely got a whole lot reserved for Kathryn. Perhaps not multiple hugs, just one very long one That dress was almost too short (if that is even possible ) for that sort of thing. And she was wearing boots as well! Obviously I've only seen a tiny, albeit very lovely, bit of PWOG so I don't know if that was something her character did. Perhaps the dress was an oddity and the boots were more in keeping with her normal non-work attire. There were a bit Abby from NCIS. She actually IS really good at being comedic, which actors universally say is always much harder to do than drama. It would've be fun to see Kathryn guest starring in a sitcom, such as Friends. There aren't many shows like that around these days. Whoa there with the "kidding" LK. I think you might be onto something with this. It's got a lot of potential, giving many people what they want to see: Lilly getting on with life after her mother's death. Lilly in cut-off jeans. Lilly getting on with life after her shooting. Lilly in cut-off jeans. Lilly spending more time at home rather than work. Lilly in cut-off jeans. Lilly making home a bit more... homey, rather than a place she visits occasionally between cases. Lilly in cut-off jeans. A lighter side to Lilly. Lilly in cut-off jeans. I think you get the gist And if a certain detective Valens should drop by to help out, perhaps to hold the ladder... Why do I have a scene from the Naked Gun movie in my head all of a sudden?

Oh RichE, you had me laughing so hard! I think you're absolutely right, though. In your and LillyKat's scenario, everyone seems to win. I would just settle for Lilly in jeans, sweats, or anything else not job-related (although, I will lobby for the jean shorts for you RichE). Normally on PWOG, Kathryn was wearing her Marine uniform, but this show did a nice job of showing the marines during their down time as well as their work time. So, we got to see Kathryn in all sorts of different outfits. However, the black dress was (as far as I can remember) an isolated incident. And yes, it was almost too short (especially when she tripped over the couch ). Thanks for all the hugs, LillyKat. I couldn't agree more about seeing this side of Kathryn's talent. She really does have a knack for comedy. I'd love to see her use it more. Or just her lighter side in general (HINT, HINT CC).

Lilly in cut-off jeans. A lighter side to Lilly. Lilly in cut-off jeans. This is too funny, RichE! Have to agree with TVFan that I was laughing pretty darn hard at this. I confess I will settle for ANYTHING TO GET LILLY BACK TO LIVING A LIFE at this point. Enough of this depressed mess of zombieness. I'm liking the overly-optimistic thoughts we have going in thinking Lil' could have a relaxed wardrobe shift every once in a while. Cut off jeans, old T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweats, etc. are all good by me. And some paint / home improvement projects / trips to Home Depot wouldn't hurt, either. ( ... I interrupt this thread to remind folks we are only joking and/or we don't actually expect CC to turn Lilly into Annalisa on PWOG ... but we wouldn't mind if CC picked up some pointers from ANY show on how to lighten Lil' back up a bit ... and now back to our regularly scheduled thread ... ) I think I'll start a Give Lil' a Life campaign thanks to KM in PWOG. KIDDING. But, it is nice to know KM does agree Lil's WAY too dark and over the edge nowadays, so hey, if there were a campaign, I guess she'd be in our corner. LOL! In the meantime, I believe PWOG is my new favorite KM project.

I agree LillyKat, we need to see a lighter side of Lilly.
The clips were just great of KM, it shows you just how much talented she really is..
