This is a remarkably compelling, intense film. Only 10 minutes long, it can be viewed (thank you Irishkale!!) under Kathryn Media Index. Let me give my standard disclaimer: I may be prejudiced cause this was Kathyrn and I don't know if I will ever say that she is anything less than wonderful. As Linda Delacroux, Kathryn was utterly cold and callous--and totally believable playing the part! Gosh, she's great in any role!

Thought I'd bump this up as this short film is now posted on YouTube: Kathryn in "The Hostage" (YouTube) For anyone who hasn't seen it, it's really quite good.

I'm working on getting some better quality versions and making them available to you good people. I'll post again when done. Linda Delacroix (Hostage) has certain similarities with Rita Dunne (Paycheck). KM must have been going through a bad girl phase

Man....thats a great commercial short film for BMW lol. Now I definitely want to buy a BMW =P. JK.
Clive Owen reminds me of Jason Statham(sp) in "The Transporter" movie with his slick car moves XD.

Here is an H264 version of Hostage: - 51MB, H264, Rapidshare This is a screengrab from the movie to give you an idea of the size and quality: I'm working on an all Kathryn, no filler, "Maximum Morris" version.

I'm working on an all Kathryn, no filler, "Maximum Morris" version. Now that should be a classic, RichE. Thank you ever so much for the updated version. I don't know how I missed this commercial the first go around, but I did.

Here you go. Just Kathryn's bits, so to speak It pairs it down to 1 minute from nearly 10. Nothing clever, just simple editing. The audio suffers from the jumps and it takes scenes out of context, but you know that. - 7MB, "Maximum Morris" edit, H264, Rapidshare

I have seen the ad on youtube. I found it in a search for videos concerning KM. Basicly, I was like that -> Is this just an ad?? A short movie with two turning points on the script and with such a budget?? Just an ad?? Wow!! I loved the car, of course!! (and the driver ;D ;D) As for KM, the quality of this girl as an actress can be shown even in a small part of an ad!! In the last part, after the fat guy died, she achieved to pass from the evil glare to the "innocent" glare and finally to the "what's going on? Where did he go?" expression in a few seconds! She passed the emotion without a simple word!!

I loved her evil little glances at the end, so different from Lilly, KM can really play play any part.
