Hey Byrdman! I am have a awesome day so far! I loved the throw back of the big 80's hair! That is totally the way the girls wore their hair when I was in high school. It required a lot of hair spray to get those "wings" just right!  However, I preferred the grown up hair more, just seemed to "fit" her more than the other. I had an "ah" moment when she was walking down the hall sporting her little bump. She is so cute preggers. This is the first time I had seen the movie, ALL of it at least. I had seen the little clips that have been posted and wanted to see the whole thing, so I thank you again for the heads up. I was thrilled when I saw I had the channel! LII2: For all KM fans I hope they put this out on DVD soon. This inspiring made-for-television drama tells the true story of how Dennis Byrd -- professional football player for the New York Jets -- rebounded from a terrible game injury that left him paralyzed. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide KM plays Angela Byrd, wife of Dennis. |

Hello boys and girls! Hey there, it's the Byrdman coming at you on this rocking Saturday night! I hope that everyone is having just as good a weekend as I am! Well, I just finished watching this wonderful movie this morning - two thumbs up! I completely support LillyRush1977's glowing support of it. It was a football movie, and that appeals to me automatically. But KM being in it and playing such a nice and substantial piece of the story was nice to see. Granted, she cried some and I hated to see that, but she smiled a lot too! And it was a truly inspirational tale. Anyone who knows Mr. Byrd and what he went through knows what a long and hard struggle it was for him to recover from his injury - I'm sure it is a struggle that he continues to wage to this day. But I loved hearing KM's southern accent, and her singing voice, and seeing her big hair, and her lovely smile, and all the rest. The girl just rocks! I wonder if there is somewhere we could go to suggest that this movie be put to dvd sometime. So, did you see it too, Irishkale? |

Hi LillyRush1977! Hey, girl! I immediately thought of you when I saw this hit on my TiVo. I know you are a big "Rise and Walk" fan! And you love KM's 80s big hair! I do as well - I wish the girls had stuck with it personally. Oh yes, Km's character really did not understand football in her high school days. Nut by the later part of the movie, she was a Jets Girl for sure! I will echo LillyRush1977's thoughts - this movie rocks and anyone who has not seen it really needs to check it out. Sadly I will not be able to watch it when it comes on due to work schedule, but I still have it on my DVR and watched it this weekend!
