I was flipping through the channels at lunchtime today and I saw something I have never seen before on U.S. TV!!!! The ultra-rare "Rise & Walk:The Dennis Byrd story" was playing on TV!!!!! I have DirecTV, and it was DirecTV channel 338, "Gospel Music Channel." I missed the 1st 45 minutes of it, but I recorded the rest. My Tivo didn't pick it up because Kathryn was credited as "Kathy Morris", and the TiVo is set to record "Kathryn Morris"  Anyways, here a link to the website and the schedule. I really actually haven't seen the whole movie, about how many scenes was KM in? She probably was pretty young right in this movie??

The imdb says 1994; So that makes her about 25. She's the wife of the injured football player so she has scenes sprinkled throughout. It's a very "earnest" KM performance.

What hair and clothes people wear in the 90's! hehe!!
Though KM is really beautiful!
And she is singing! She's good! (Wouldn't be a good idea Lil sing at the ending episode of CC?? ;D )

I have only seen part of it, but I am a football fan to start with, so it appeals to me just with that. And with KM? It's a great movie! At least what I have seen thus far. Any other feedback? Thanks byrdman for the heads up on this gem!
Recorded it yesterday while I was mowing the yard, I wanted to be able to watch it commercial free kinda...OMG loved it! She has an amazing voice which really didn't surprise me with her background. KM was looked so young in this one!
It was a really inspirational. The movie could've been three hours long with all the stuff that they should have included, but overall excellent!
The one complaint...where was the newest edition to the family at the end. You knew she had the baby due to her smaller tummy, but where was the little girl? Would have been great to include that scene.
