Hi all, Don't know if you've seen Minority Report, but KM is in it, even if her role isn't HUGe ( i don't think), but ABC is showing it tonight at 8 pm. (3/12/05) :lilyslug: MOVIE INFO FROM IMDB: In the future, criminals are caught before the crimes they commit, but one of the officers in the special unit is accused of one such crime and sets out to prove his innocence.

I watched Minority Report in the movies and thought it was quite good (considering I don't normally like futuristic movies, that's actually saying a lot ;D). I didn't know KM back then so I didn't pay much attention to her, I'm afraid. When I saw her on CC her face rang a bell but I couldn't for the life of me figure out where I'd seen her :hammer: . Anyway, my point was that if you haven't seen it, I recommend you do. Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for the tip, coeurdobscurite. :thumb:

Sorry I came on and looked for the old post on this topic and didn't see someone had started a new thread here.......
I finally watched this movie last night on ABC. Only I missed the first eight minutes.
What a very off movie. Some of it was a bit hokey - like when Tom's character jumps from car to car on that centrifugal force highway. And what they did with that girl and her two brothers as precogs was terrible. The eye recognition was funny in parts too. Everywhere you go you get bombarded by solicitation and that operation was not something I could watch.
I think I need to find some kind of in depth synopsis. If anyone knows of a good source please let me know. Probably missing the first eight minutes didn't help.
edited: Oh, I forgot to mention Kathryn's part. At first I thought it was going to be an itty bitty part but she had some good scenes towards the end. I didn't like her character's hair color though. (why are we always on her hair?) But she did remind me very much of Lilly Rush at times.

I never noticed this the first time around because Factory Girls hadn't aired the first time I watched it. Dr. Iris Hinemen is Fannie (from Factory Girls).

The bit at the end when he is stroking her face is just aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It's a shame for Kathryn that she didn't get to snog Tom though!!! :smile56: :smile56: :smile56:

I first saw this movie several months ago(mainly because KM was in it, as I'm not a Tom Cruise fan), and bought it on DVD three days later. Both my friend and I liked it, except forthe sandwhich scene, we both found that icky :smile2:

I saw this movie long before I knew KM. In fact, I saw a lot of movies with KM long before I knew her. She did pretty good in this one. Of course, with you guys it always goes back to the hair. LOL Now, if only they would air, "Death of a Cheerleader". She played a goth girl in that one. I've seen this movie about a million times and it hasn't aired since Cold Case started.

I watched this one again yesterday (10-hour car trip home), and I must say that Kathryn is fantastic in it! I remembered her crying scene, and how fantastic she was in that one, but I had forgotten how great she was throughout the film. It's really too bad that she didn't have a larger role. I also watched the special features for the 1st time, and it was nice to see Steven Spielberg single her out and talk about how great she is! Emmys, shememmys! Kathryn has the backing and compliments of Mr. Movie Director himself - Steven Spielberg! Now that's a real honor!!

Well said TVFan. And to think that she has featured in more than one of his movies is also a real honor.

Couldn't spot a more appropriate place to post this so it will have to be here. Hopefully it's OK.
Short notice I realise but I've just noticed that Minority Report is on BBC1 (major channel in UK) tonight (10th March) at 10.45pm..

I fear our michelle is not feeling so well. I think she is confusing Minority Report with Paycheck, which stars KM for about 10 minutes at the start. Have a lie down love.
