 I haven't seen Paycheck but isn't KM like only in the very beginning? Still it was a major motion picture.

She's in the first few minutes of the movie but it's the best few minutes. She TOTALLY seduces Ben Affleck!! It's an amazing couple of scenes. She should have been in it more.  |

The scene is very short and only shown in brief clips of Ben Affleck's memory (which they were erasing, and thus the reason why her character had the little tryst  ). |

Hopefully I'm going to the get the DVD from a friend at the weekend if anyone wants screenshots or movie clips. This is all from a single viewing either last year or the year before so I'm going to be a little hazy. KM is only in the film for a few minutes very early on (as you can see from the pics here the credits are still running). The basic idea is that KM is playing a lawyer (or something like that) for the company that Ben A. has been/will be working for. She has him signing some documents. She knows he will have his memory erased so will not remember anything she says or does. I think that is a bit of a turn on for her. Plus she wonders if she can make such an impression on him that memories of her will survive the memory wipe. And why shouldn't it? What with her being... well... Kathryn ;D I think she went away a little disappointed. I have some slightly bigger screen caps than those shown in the link above. I'll try and post links to them later. My guess is that an 'R' rated version would just be a slight extension of the scene in the movie. If the film (I can't remember) implies that nothing really happened, maybe an extended version would imply that something does happen. If makes no difference to the film. |

I'm well annoyed, This arrived today, but the place I rent from sent me a totally different film, it was in the wrong case, so not happy. Sending it back tomorrow, so it comes hopefully at the end of the week.  |

Was this released in more than one version, I wonder? In my dvd, her scene runs beyond the opening credits (but still only about 15 minutes of her). Someone else had posted that you only saw flashes of things going on while they erased his memory. Mine (happily and luckily) shows events as the occured and later shows flashes as they erase him ("flashes", hmmmm. Interesting choice of words). One of these, er, "flases", which is pictured earlier in this thread is fairly pause button worthy. ummm, anyway.
Anyway, Kathryn said in some interview or another that an R rated version of the scene had been filmed. I've not seen it. :-(
Naj, I would love to speculate and provide an outline (or a complete essay). However, I don't think the results would be postable. Plus I fear I would lose all powers of intelligent communication for some time after aforementioned speculation. :-) :-)

I think it's probably just my rusty memory michelle. I saw this one a couple of years ago, so I don't remember it too well. I remember them together in a room and then I thought the next thing they showed was the flashbacks from Ben's mind. I could definitely be wrong (and it seems that I am).  |

I believe it is HERE. The last answer of Kathryn. You made the film Paycheck with Ben Affleck. Was that during the "Bennifer" madness? Kathryn : I worked with him right before the scandal (when Affleck was reported to have cheated on then-fiancée Jennifer Lopez with a stripper) We shot this R version of our love scene. The version was pretty sexy that we did. I was just relieved that I wasn't there shooting that during the whole drama, but I had been. (laughs). (The scandal) all happened a couple of weeks after I left. |

I have Paycheck on DVD now and I'm not sure what to do with it. The screen caps on KMO are probably better than I can manage and pretty much cover KM's appearance in the film. I have made a 15MB reduced size (320x180) MPEG4 of KM's scenes if anyone is interested in hosting it. It has some non-KM stuff edited out to shorten it but there is enough left to give the scenes some context. If anyone has any suggestions or requests I'm happy to try and oblige. |
